my due date is jan. 10, 2008...but the baby dropped last week and i'm dialating already though my water hasn't broke...when should i expect the baby?

Before I got pregnant, my bf and I used to party all the time together. Now, we had the luxury of a "planned pregnancy" and b4 I got pregnant he would say that he was going to quit drinking and partying when I got pregnant b/c I would no longer be able to and I explained to him that I would feel so left out. Well, I am 6 1/2 mos now and he still goes out drinking with his friends and parties on the weekends...and just as I told him I would, I feel very left out and sometimes get aggravated when he comes stumbling in at 2:00a. Now granted, he doesn't drive when he drinks, he always rides w/ someone else. When I bring up the fact that he promised he'd quit drinking, he just says that's very unfair of me to ask him to do that since he works so hard all week. I'm not saying he doesn't work hard...I know he does. But I work too...I'd like to have a drink after work, but I can't. Is it selfish of me to think he shouldn't be able to either?!

Ok went to Dr to got on the scale and OMG it was almost 190 i about flippped that was the weight i was when i delivered my first child!!!! I have been a stat at home mommy for about 1yr and 1/2 and have slowley put this weight on.. I was about 140 2yrs ago.. I dont want to be 300 pounds when i deliver . I am on BP meds and tyroid meds also.. Is their any kind mof diet or excercise i can do to help be a lil healthier through this journey??? Like not eat after 6 or walking how much.. My dr said i could walk.. My stomach also feels sooo bloated right now . Please help.. Also i am a lil worried since my last pregancy ended with a miscarriage (blighted ovum) so i dont wanna stress out to much.. Thank You all for the anwsers

The company I work for is making redundancies. I have worked there since march but leave to have my baby in 4 weeks. I am worried that I will be told I am for thechop, is this the case?

I was having bad cramps and a ton of pressure low. Well it turns out my cervix is still closed so all should be fine. They also ran a test to see if I will go in to labor in the next 2 weeks and that will be in tomorrow. I noticed though I had lost 2 pounds since last week when I had my 28 week appointment (last Tuesday). Is that normal? My eating habits have not changed at all, still healthy and lots of water.

I just found out that I am a little over a month pregnant. The same day I found out, my husband was fired. So...no insurance. I cant afford to pay the COBRA to keep it. We are living with my parents with my 16 month old son and no niether of us have a job so i know I qualify for Medi Cal, but where can I use it? Can I go to a hospital? I am in the Bay Area, CA. Hayward to be exact. I want to get the card but I dont really know who will accept it. I had a card with my first pregnancy in KY and there was just a small Primary Care Center in our home town that accepted anything and referred me to a doctor at the Hospital in the next town over that accepted my medicaid card. I dont know what to do. Im so stressed and scared that I wont have any medical coverage for my pregnancy and be furthur in debt than I already am. Somebody please, please help me!

I would like to know if any of you girls did a hpt after a miscarriage, how many days after and if it came out positive. I had a m/c about 5 weeks ago and I tested today and its a strong positive could it still be from the last preg... I already made a dr.appt but I just want to here from past experiences. thanks you!

Today my cousin went and got her sonogram. She's having a GIRL! I'm sooo excited, but I'm so worried too. Shes soo young [[turned 16 in April]] and her bf took off to Florida and swears he'll be back. She believes him & shes so naive, cuz he's not coming back. Also she drank at her homecoming and smokes weed pretty reguraly. She says her mom smoked it with her and she came out fine so her baby will come out ok as well. We've tried talking to her and she doesnt wanna take care of herself or the baby, but she says shes a proud mommy to be. I dont know what else I can do for her... I'm so excited about the baby and especially excited its a girl!!!! :-) But i'm super worried that she'll hurt the baby... any suggestions...??

**No rude remarks or suggestions plz. I know she is young, I know she shouldnt be in this predictment, she wanted to take the responsibility for having sex, etc. I just want nice suggestions. We're all adults here. Thank You in advance**

I was on the pill for four years. I continued taking the pill so i wouldnt have a period for my wedding on Sept. 22. After the honeymoon, i went off the pill for good. Got my period a few days later, early October. I havent had one since. I noticed milky substance coming from my breasts the other day. I have had leaky breasts before, but never milky like this. I took a pregnancy test last week that came out negative and i took one the other day when i noticed my breasts were leaking....If both tests said negative, whats wrong with me?

OK I asked this same question this morning and all I got was one answer and it was from a man!


This is my 2nd pregnancy I dont know exactly how far along I am I havent been to the doctor yet (I have an appt set up) but I already feel that ache in my stomach like I have been doing crunches or sit ups for a week! I remember this happening with my last pregnancy but it seems to early for this. Any one else have this happen? And maybe it makes a differance or not but my daughter is only 6 months old!

Up until about 3 days ago I was feeling pregnancy symptoms (although not many). Now I feel perfectly fine. I know it probably shouldn't, but it worries me. I have had no bleeding or pain. Could something bad have happened that I don't know about? From everything I've read if I miscarry I would see blood and have bad cramping. Is there anyone else out there that has gone through the same experience?

I started noticing this around the time of implantation. Cigarette smoke on other people's clothes, car exhaust, the hand soap in my bathroom all drive me crazy! At the same time some smells smell SOOOO good, like my shower gel and shampoo. I just found out I was pregnant and this is about the only symptom I had, anyone else have this too?

im five months along, and it seems like a few weeks after i told him i was pregnant, no more sex.. we used to have it 4 or 5 times a week. now its more like twice a month.. if im lucky.. i feel rejected, and he just wants me to stop bugging him about it.. he never actually told me why. im assuming its because im pregnant.. we are both "able" but nothing has happend and it has been 4 years! we dont have sex like animals but we have sex at least every other day and no baby what can we be doing wrong? and yes i lay there for a while, yes i have used the pillow! i am dissapointed every month it is really sad i am starting to wonder if this is God's plan!!

Okay...I'm very much so suspecting that I'm pregnant. I've missed my period for this month, and everybody around me keeps saying it, as if they're pointing out something that I'm blind of knowing. I've been vomiting at least once a day for the past week or so, a couple of days I didn't go through that though, and I've been having hot flashes.

But I've also been "wetter" than usual. All weekend, my panties have been slightly damp, where I've never experienced that before. Also, I just came from the restroom and when I wiped, I had a LOT of mucus'y looking, clear, slimy stuff on the tissue. I know that this usually happens when I'm ovulating, but that would've been at the BEGINNING of the month.

So I guess my question is...is this NORMAL for early pregnancy? Or is there a chance that I'm NOT pregnant and that there's SOMETHING else going on?

And no...I have not confirmed my suspicions with an e.p.t., but I have been paying very close attention 2 my body, 'n I'm sure I am
