Chances are 5 weeks after your miscarriage it is not gonig to cause residual. When I miscarreid I tested negative within the first week of miscarrying with a blood test I was below the level 2. I would strongly say that you are definitely pregnant again. ESPECIALLY because you said it was a STRONG postive.
CONGRATS!

I have had 2 miscarriages, 1st one didn't have any residual hcg levels, 2nd I did even 2 months after! So pls don't get too excited just yet. I know it was all very early for you when you miscarried so the liklihood of you being pregnant is actually better than it was for me, but I also know how difficult all the emotional trials can be at this time. How long did you wait to have sex again? You know that there is a high chance of infection when you have sex so quickly after a miscarriage and that should wait at least one month afterwards to give your body time to heal and adjust. Go to your doctor because you should just make sure all is ok with you anyway. Good luck.

It can take a while after a miscarriage for the hormones to level out. It could still possibly be from the last miscarriage. You might not return to a normal menstruation cycle for a while. I got pregnant 1 month after a miscarriage though--so it's hard to tell!

I would suggest trying to wait a few months before trying to conceive again. My baby spent over 7 weeks in the hospital and we almost lost him a couple times. He has lots of health problems and I attribute it to conceiving him so soon after my miscarriage. Best of luck!

I got pregnant with my son within a month after my 3rd miscarriage and it was one of the digital tests that I used. My doctor had me come in for a blood test to confirm that it was actually a new pregnancy and not hormones from the miscarriage. I was 5 weeks along when I went to the doctor.

You are definately pregnant. 5 weeks after a m/c your hormones would have long gone. Congrats and good luck.

have you been having sex? it is very easy to get prego again after a miscarriage. i would see the doc to be sure but the levels wont read from the last pregnancy. you are probably prego again.
