Have her call her OBGYN. Go ahead and go to the hospital if you want. Worse case scenario, they'll send her home. No big deal. That late in the pregnancy, nausea and vomiting is common because the baby is taking up SO much room. He/she is squishing the stomach and other organs all out of whack. Depending what kind of pain she's having, it could also just be a side effect of the baby. If the pain comes and goes, time them. How long and how far apart. They could very likely be contractions.

I don't know if she's in labor, but any time you've been throwing up all day and are in pain you need to make a trip to the doctor or an emergency room. Best of luck.

when i was pregnant anything that bothered me made me go to the doc, especially late in pregnancy. if she is throwin up and in pain, then she definately should go in to the doctor. why risk it,

These things are normal in most pregnancies. She should be under a doctors care now.

she needs to call her OB/GYN. They will tell her what she needs to do. They might induce her because she is a week overdue. Her and the baby could be in distress because of her sickness.

I would say she definitely needs to call her doctor with these symptoms. It sounds like she is starting.

yes she needs to go. she might be throwing up cuz she ate. tell her to stop eating and head to the er. if she is vomitting and in pain its worth checking out asap.
