I had one at 23 wks and then i just had another one done this past Friday (almost 37 wks) and it gave me a perfect shot of the baby's face. I say go for it, especially if insurance is going to pay for it. It is totally worth it, you get to see who the baby is favoring the most!

Good luck!

I went at 23 weeks pregnant because I didn't want to see exactly what the baby would look like when born. I wanted some bit of surprise, since I knew the sex and now was going to have that re-confirmed along with a 3d/4d view. It was nice to see that the baby was growing and developing well. We got a lot of pictures and it's funny because she looks different in every single one. It was like looking at her through a glass ball, a narrow face, a chubby face, a big nose, a huge arm....don't get me wrong...there were some good "normal" views. We just couldn't decide what she probably actually looked like. Anyway, with my next child...I probably won't do it again. Depending on your experience and paying the money you will...you could either be more disappointed or more impressed. Good Luck, if you go!

My sister merely had one performed final week and he or she enjoyed it. i presumed it exchange into kinda advantageous yet you may ask your self some questions. First is does it must be performed ? I.e. for well-being reasons. And the different question you need to ask your self , by way of a good funds , is there something greater effective you may purchase your newborn with this ? Do you have already got a robust crib ? Do you have a changing table , bathing station , dipper bag, a stocked up furnish of dippers ? in my opinion there are quite a few different issues that a infant might want.

I had 2 and both times I was unable to get any images. My sister in law however has amazing footage of both of her kids.

I think it depends on how far along you are and the position the baby is in. Mine has just been stubborn from day 1. lol.

I was amazed at the quality! What shocked me most was how much my son looked like the ultra sound!!! I think my favorite part was seeing his tiny little hand with 5 perfect fingers!!! Much better than the regular ultrasound pics!!

I think the farther along you are, the harder it is to get a perfect shot. It is recomended to get one around 24-32 weeks to get good visual, and you have to book weeks in advance, so if your planning on getting one, schedule an appointment soon. Im planning on getting one too.

If you drink PLENTY of water before you go, I'm sure you will get to see the baby perfectly.
