Pregnancy - November 2007

was just wondering about this,iv heard of the taste of metal in your mouth being a sign of pregnancy,but today i tasted blood in my mouth,only for a short while though,im not due my period till next week,so if this is a sign isnt it a bit early please answer i wondered if anyone else has ever experienced this

hi this is going to sound like a strange question but has been playing on my mind, so sorry in advance!
im 38 weeks tomo and on Tuesday at my mw appointment i found out baby is breech and the mw showed me and biggish hard lump i can always feel very very easily (even by stroking my belly) is her head. now im really worried its so easy to feel and close to the surface and worrying that it could some how get damaged because you really can feel it so clearly any advise xx

Me and my gf had sex without a condom about a 1-1 n half months ago. I pulled out, and shes one of the best birth control, what she said. She constantly has headaches, but she had them before she says. Im worried myself that she might be pregnant, yet she said she had a irregular period like for 4 days, and wasnt a regular cycle. So im not real sure what that was all about, she just got off it yesterday. Im still worried she might be pregnant, she has a few of the common sympthons im just not sure. Give me some advice thank you.

Don't act like you don't have food cravings....we all have them. Healthy or not.

I'm in love with cheese puffs and two percent milk and I couldn't stand either of them before I was pregnant.

My mom wanted to be in the room when I gave birth but I only wanted her there when I was in labor. She was pissed and left the hospital and refused to come see us and the baby afterwards. My bf was really hurt by this cause his family was in India and couldn't be there though they wanted too really bad. Here my mom was right down the road and refused to come. He's really mad at her cause of that, and she's mad at him cause he was in the room and apparently she thought she deserved to be there more. She's also extremely mad at me. I feel like I got stuck in the middle and all I was trying to do was survive labor and delivery. I was shocked when after giving birth I realized no one in my family was even there to celebrate. I'm also hurt, but I feel like I need to do something to patch all these relationships. Any advice, suggestions, comments?

I just wanted to know if any women out there had the same problem as me. EVERY time(since the 33th or 34th week)that me and my husband have sex i get period like cramping pains and contractions, that hurt SOOO bad. Every time they get worse, and keep coming for longer periods of time. Today it happened again an still 5 hours later im in pain. They start off REALLY close together(Like 1 min) and end about 6 hours later coming about 15 min apart. Just wondering if anyone else had or has the same problem.
38 weeks tommorrow :)

I know I'm not supposed to raise my body temperature too much. I was wanting to use the hot tub to help my back feel better. It's been hurting so bad lately. I guess my main question is how long is too long to sit in it. I was going to just do a couple minutes at a time so I don't get too hot, that way it will help my back relax a little. Thanks.

I mean like any type of makeup or perfumes?? I was taking a shower and just thinking hmm wonder if any other pregnant women out there use facewash or body wash or if they change to something more earth friendly or more natural?? Or like hairspary or mousse smells bother you? Or did any of your makeup look bad on you that looked good before you got pregnant.. I have heard of the pregnancy GLOw lol that is suppose to take care of that wearing so much makeup.. Anyway just wondering

Ok, I had my first two children very young, and since I had a boy and a girl I decided not to have any others, when my youngest was two I met a wonderful man who would eventually become my husband. We now have a little one on the way, and I have lots of people asking me about doing a baby shower. I thought you only got one, for your first child. I know we got rid of all the baby things, and everyone wants to get this child something, but isn't it bad ettiquette to have a second shower?? How many of you had more than one shower? And if a friend invited you to a baby shower after they had already had one with a previous pregnancy would you think they were being greedy???

so I hear that first pregnancies tend to go longer than the expected due date... I want to know how many of you fall into that category, and how many of you came early.. I am 36 weeks now, and of course starting to anticipate the arrival of my baby! so I am just curious..
Also, my mom went into labor 3 weeks early with me, and my sister went into labor one week early with her son.. does that mean anything when it comes to me??
;) your experience and any thoughts would be great!
Oh, and for your information, I am NOT intending to ask my doctor to induce me early, I want her to come when she is ready.

i had a pre-term birth at 7 months of pregnancy I was 14 years old,on january 2006 , i got pregnant again on march 2006 I had my second babygirl on november 2006 I was 15 , my baby is one year-old I have never been in birth-control in the past year,also i never breast-feeded her so, I don't know why I haven't get pregnant ,I know I i'm young to have babies but, I get worried.

I was really sick for about a week and I had to go to the Er, I told them that I was on BC, and they said ok and gave me a type of antiiotic. I didn't bother to read the bottle. Untill I finshed the 30 tabs (3 a day for 10 days), And to my suprise it says right on it that it lowers the effectivness of BC.


So now I am scard out of my mind that I might be pregant.

What are some of the early signs, other than a missed periode?
