Don't give me that its her body. The minute you lay down and have a baby you become a mom and you are responsiable for your child's life.As far as the insurance answer.Yes I would love to see more of the welfare dollars be spent so that a child gets to live.

Read this.....My "friend" was 16 and got pregnant by a 25 year old. She was 6 months and got an abortion. She had to go out of the state that we live in just so she could kill her unborn baby.
Fast forward now were almost 21 and she got pregnant last year, but couldn't carrying it full term, she had a miscarriage. To me god was paying her back for being baby killer!
Oh yeah, were supposed to be best friends, and at the time that she had the abortion i had a newborn baby girl, and today she's 4. And more beautiful then i ever expected or could hope for. Now I'm 8 months pregnant and she tells me "i wish i could have a baby" It's ruined our relationship, and i resent her for it. I'm the best mom i know how to be and she should have at least tried!

I posted a question about abortion and keeping my baby ect...
I do not think abortion is a form of birth control. My question did not get posted correctly(my fault). I am a mother of a beautiful 13 year old boy. I had him when I was 17. I had an abortion at around 21 years of age. I am now 31. I am pregnant and I asked for others opinion. I am keeping my baby. Baby daddy or not. It is mine. I just wanted to know what others think.
To answer your question: Majority of women do not use abortion as birth control. (that I have met and talked to). It is really hard on the body and emotions. Sometimes situations happen and that person decides how to handle it. As in any other situation. In America women have a choice and that is the bottom line.
As far as adoption goes, I personally could not have a child and not raise it myself. I could not go on with my life knowing a child of mine is out there and away from me. I would wonder day by day how it is doing and I would always have the fear that the child would not understand my choice if I were to continue to be apart of its life(open adoption) or what I would say if they found me later in life. So I am going to have my baby, love it like I have loved my son and continue with life. And of course I will be more responsible in the future.
I hope I have helped answer your question.

I honestly blame the parents for not educating their children properly on the subject of sex and pregnancy. That and parents don't seem to want to take an interest in their teens lives so they just don't care. They have no self respect and don't think about the consequences before performing the action.

I can honestly say that there really is no oops I'm pregnant it is more of an oh well, I'll just get an abortion if it happens.

Sad to say, but knowing how hard it is to get pregnant (third time around took over a year with vigorous trying) I can't see how there can be any oops'.

I dont really understand it. Adoption is SO MUCH easier.

It's because people are immature, stupid, selfish, and horrible. Instead of paying however much a month for birth control, they'd rather kill an innocent baby inside of them.

I never understand it, and I never will. If I got pregnant by "accident" (Which will never happen, because I am smart enough to use protection), I'd give it up for adoption if I dont want it. At least then I wouldn't be killing it, and it'd get raised and loved by someone who really want or can't have kids themselves.

It don't matter what you think. Abortion is legal and you cannot tell anyone what to do. A woman can do what she wants with HER BODY.

I am for abortion. There are plenty of reasons why girls/women have abortions. I would think though after one abortion they would get on birth control cause after all birth control is free if you get it at the health department and even if you had to buy it -it would be cheaper than having an abortion all the time but i am not those women and i cannot say why they do what they do and it is none of my buisness.

If you want to do something about it then preach about birth control to these girls. Honestly do you lose sleep everynight cause women choose to have abortions? highly doubt you do just like i don't. Until you walk a mile in their shoes how can you judge?

i would like to see what answers come of this question!!

People do it because its an easy out.. that they dont have to tell anyone.. cause they dont think in the first place that ohh maybe I should get some b/c to prevent myself from getting pregnant..

what they dont know is the more they do it.. the later in life their chances of being able to concieve will be harder..
and in most places.. I know in canada.. its free if you have a health card and confidential..

I could go on forever..but i wont lol

Because people are ignorant and selfish. I think that abortion as birth control is cold blooded murder, thumbs down me I don't care.
I can't pass judgment on someone with extenuating circumstances, but as birth control it is wrong and anyone who would argue that is just as wrong.
I don't understand how people who would do that to a child after not taking any precautions to prevent pregnancy can live with themselves.

delivery administration prevents any fertilized egg from implanting interior the uterine lining by potential of hormonally telling your physique that it is already pregnant. considering there is not any potential for existence to exist (that is basically like having your era), it is not a variety of abortion.

Im my opinion birth control keeps you from getting pregnant and if you are having an abortion...hmm sounds like youre already pregnant so your not really keeping yourself from getting pregnant.

Abortion is terribly wrong in all sense

I think you are completely right. What always kills me is these pro-choicers who are always screaming about a woman's "reproductive rights". What about her RESPONSIBILITIES?!? Shouldn't she CHOOSE whether she wants to have a child BEFORE she has one growing inside her? Why should an innocent human being have to die just because it's life is inconvienent for someone else?
