Pregnancy - November 2007

Does being pregnant lower your chances of getting a job? I've been busting *** trying to get a job lately...well for a while now and nobody will hire me. I mean I'm not ugly, I'm cute, and I'm REALLY friendly, but as soon as they notice I'm pregnant it's like they instantly change their minds. Should I just give up till I have to baby or should I keep trying?

im 28 weeks...which means im 7 months...Now wouldnt that mean i have 2 months left?? But according to the calender i have 81 days left. which is way over 2 months..

i'm a 20 yr old woman. i met this guy at a party and we had a one-night stand. that was a month ago...i found out i'm pregnant last week. i'm still a uni student. i can't keep the baby...but abortion is a sin according to my religion...should i inform the father? this is so hard for me...my parents would be very upset if they get to know. please help me out.

I've asked my doctor how should I sleep and she told me to go on the internet.
But their, I've found that for some, sleeping on the back is dangerous, for others it's not. Some say that sleeping on your left side is better some say it doesn't matter.

How should I position myself to sleep?

i had a 3rd degree tear and had lots of stitches, i was on antibiotics for it and then got a infection in the stitches so had to go on more antibiotics, yesterday my blood loss has got worse and its started smelling really badly, i wash all the time and change my pads but it still smells even after a bath, i cant get hold of my midiwfe and im really worried as the blood shouldnt smell, its a really awful smell, i gave birth 13 days ago. please if anyone has any advice please let me know

Please tell me if this is wrong.
I am 8 months pregnant, and have made the decision that I do not want my daughter's father in labor and delivery. Actually, I plan on not even telling him when I go into labor.
We broke up about 2 months ago, we've had no communication with one another. His family does not call to check on me or the baby. And he provides absolutely no support.
However, over the weekend, I was admitted for vomiting and dehydration, one of his relatives who works at the hospital, informed them that I was there...he showed up very worried and concerned. Which I knew he was being fake and phony because he's guilty of many things. Shortly after, about 8 of his relatives show up in my room with the same concern, but also with negative vibes. They were already making comments about how the room would be crowded when I go into labor, and he said the nurse would have to bring another bed.
Can I give the nurses station specific instructions on who i want there and do not?

Can you get a hair relaxer while pregnant. I just found out a week ago I am pregnant. If I can do it now could I do it later on or I just can't do it at all?

I bled heavily for about 5 minutes, there was a pain that felt identical to period pain. There were no clots in the blood. I'v been to docs and hospital and everything looks ok, I have a scan tomorrow to check on my baby but im going out of my mind! Has anyone had a similar experience or can explain what this is likely to be?
Also how is it possible for the lining of the womb to change but the baby stay in there and be ok?

Is this normal? The pain is not intense, its just achy in my lower abdo and back. Ive had no bleeding but my lower abdo and back feel very warm. I guess its a little bit like the feelings you get before a period which is why im worried! Help me!

i am 26 wks preg, and feel under alot of pressure from the midwives to breast feed! i dont mind using the pump and expressing the milk but i def dont want my baby feeding from my breast! am just so uncomfortable with it. i see my boob as a sexual part of my body for me and my partner i wud not want him near something my baby fed from! am i a weirdo? does anyone else feel the same?
and anyone with smart or cheeky answers i will report it dont waste my time!

i have a terrible back aches.and i have white discharge.my last sexual contact with my bf was last Sept. 17, 2007 i had my last period last Oct. 9, 2007.and now i'm so bothered i still don't have my monthly period.i tested last Nov. 24, 2007 it was negative. but i don't relay much on these test kits.

I am really not a big water drinker and no matter how much I try I always find myself grabbing soda.. (naughty I know) ! Is caffine free soda better or worse than 100% juice. I want to keep me and my baby as healthy as possible but water has just not been cutting it for me!
