Pregnancy - November 2007

I am concerned about my daily bowel movements. Everyday I have to strain and I hope it's not taking a toll on my unborn baby. I noticed the color is also dark green which is unusual. Is this normal? Are there any treatments to help ease the pain?

This Sunday my husband and I are signed up for our childbirth preparation class. Is it really worth the 5 hours? If your a mother and you took this class or one similiar to it,are you glad you did? I've talked to different people and everyone has given me different answers. Some said it was totally worth it and really helped with actual labor and delivery and then others said all they tell you and teach you go out the window when your labor starts up! So I was just wanting some opinions!

im 15 and i know very strange but i feel like i would be ready. i know that the stereotypical teenager is wild and irresponsible but im different, i am more mature than my friends and have never even tasted a drop of alcohol nor done a puff of a drug. i know i shouldnt but i do have options. i have homeschooling and i know that its not easy but its doable. i have a trustworthy boyfriend that has stuck by me like glue. i know that i shouldnt and that some people have the opinion that it would ruin the babys life but i have a different opinion on that matter. i think that if you are mature enough have your life set out and have someone to support you its very doable. the lady ive been talking to has 3 sets of twins and got pregnant when she was16 and she seems like the happiest clam on earth. i might even BE pegnant at this point because i have most of the early signs but 2 negative tests wieghing me down. i have a feelng i tested to early but you nevr know. i just have that feeling i am

I plan on breastfeeding but I was wondering would it be ok if I pumped breastmilk into a bottle instead of breastfeeding? Has anyone done this?

I will be seven days overdue tomorrow, i've got my midwife appointment tomorrow, and induction is going to be discussed. This is my first baby and i was wondering if anyone knows what exactly will be discussed as i'm getting a little uncomfortable now and just want things to happen,

I am 10 weeks pregnant, i found out when i was 6 weeks. I'm worried sick because i drank heavily every weekend before i knew. I had a wedding, 30th party, holiday etc. I have read about FAS. Could i have done damge to my unborn baby? I havn't touched a drop since i found out. I have heard that in the early stages of pregnancy the baby is not yet feeding from the mother because it's organs have not yet formed. Is there any evidence that drinking in just early stages, before you know you are pregnant, can cause FAS or any damage? Please help.

im 36 weeks pregnant today and ive been noticing that lately ive been feeling like somethings been leaking out, i always thought it was discharge but theres a number of times i go to look and its wet a little on the panty liner but theres no color to it which is different from my discharge. i dont think its urine because it doesnt smell like anything most of the time then sometimes it jus smells sweet but could be from the sented liner. i dont know im only 18 and this is my first baby. what should i do? has this happend to anyone before?

ok the dr's told me my due date was January 12,2008...I go for a ultrasound they tell me No my dr. is wrong my due date is Feb.26,2008....now this is like a whole month and a half difference....so according to my last period my due date would be January..but the dr.'s are saying I had a miscarriage because i had light spotting towrads the last week of may...and got pregnant again b4 i could get a real period if this was the case i conceived June 5th...wtf is going on and can someone help!!!

I'm going to be 20 weeks pregnant 2 days after christmas my doctor wants us to wait til we are 22 weeks pregnant to have an ultrasound done. I really don't want to wait that long with my daughter she told me at 16 or 17 weeks. Is there anywhere else you can go to get an ultrasound?I really wanted to be able to tell everyone at christmas what we were having and infact we had the idea of not finding out and having the tech write down what it is and opening at christmas. So is there anyway i can get one or anywhere else? we live in arkansas i dont know if that really matters or not but thank you.

I am 35 weeks pregnant and am having this weird tingling sensation around my cervix. It's not painful by any means. I think I've been losing some of my mucus plug yesterday and today, the discharge is really stringy. I was just wondering if this tingling sensation could be effacement or dilation.

I took the pregnancy home test and it tested positive. I've missed two periods. But I guess I kind of question it now because I am suppose to be 9 weeks along and I've only had two weeks at the most of morning sickness. That might be a good thing. This is my first pregnancy and I'm worried that it might be a miscarriage. I don't know what one looks like. Do you just bleed? Is there any pain?

I went to the hospital with bad pains in my abdomen. the Doctor told me I am 7 weeks pregnant and was already the seize of a large grapefruit. My hormone levels were extremily high saying I should be 8 to 9 weeks pregnant. I'm wondering if I'm expecting twins? They wouldnt let me see the ultrasound because I was in on a emergency visit. I also gained alot of weight a good 9lbs...Just wondering if i'm expecting twins?

I have been having these symptoms for almost 1 week1\2 and usually if i am about to start i would just get bloated and it would only last for a couple of days and then i would start my period but this has been going on for a longer period of time!
but not any of these symptoms that im having!
my breast r like a frustrating sore,not really bad soreness!
I had my period around the end of october for 5 days and the my period came back 1 week after which was the beginning of november and i had it for 4 days then and its been 3 weeks since i had my last period.

I took two EPT +/- tests.
The first worked perfectly, but only had half of a vertical line. It had a full horizontal line.
The second had a full horizontal line, and only a "dot" above it, where the vertical line would be.
I've been having symptoms: nausea, increased urination (that's a big one), sleeplessness, but very tired, cramps, the whole nine. It's still 2 days before I should start. What's going on?

My last period ended on the 17th of October. It's now the 27th of November. I feel fine..I don't have any symptoms and I am normally late on my period, but not this late. The last time I had sex was on the 29th of October. Can you tell me any other signs of someone being pregnant? Thanks.

what causes high amniotic fluid levels??...its not really high but at 25 weeks they said it was in the 60 % (15.5) a little on the high side....what causes more than normal amniotic fluid? im not worried about it . just curious!

your childs father? I dont know if its hormones or what but right now I can't stand the father of my baby! He didn't really do anything but over the last week or so it seems like I hate him more and more. Im not even speaking to him rite now and he has no clue why and neither do I. I just really hate him rite now! Is this a normal thing when you pregnant? My patience is so low its unbelievable. I feel like if someone breathes too hard i might strangle them! Im only 5 weeks along and I feel like I need to be medicated before I kill someone. Is this normal?

YAY! I tested positive last week.... My last period started on October 7th...Does that make me 7 or 8 weeks pregnant? I have my first appt in two weeks, but Im just curious and every pregnancy calendar website gives me a different answer, either 7 or 8...which is it?

Ok. I had a m/c at 13 weeks in July of this year with an emergancy D&C. I really want another baby and have tried for the last 3 months to get pregnant. It doesn't help that my periods are always late now since the prengancy,and every month I think theres a possibility that I am prego because it gets later everytime. (this past time was 2 weeks late). I just need some encouaging words because I feel like I'm loosing my mind here already.

I am 23 years old, helthy and so isnt my partner. I had blood work done to check for down syndrome and everything came back fine. I have been for 3 level 2 ultra sounds now and they advised me to have a amniosintesis. I had that done yesterday, I am terrified to find out the results. I never thought of having any complications although it happens. They are ruling out if the baby has down syndrome or if its just premi. Any advice? What do u think my chances are? I dont know much about this stuff.

they start out like period cramps and then these sharp downs go down to my vaganal area. i went to the docter yesterday and she said i wasnt dilated any so what is this i'm experienceing?? i'm not haveing braxton-hicks while this is happening so i'm not really sure whats going on??? the pain isnt so bad that is unbearable its just really annoying and ui havent had this happen before.. its my first pregnancy and i'm not what i should do???
