Well even though YOU are not a big water drinker it is for the baby(everyone was always telling me that its not for you it is for the baby thing now it my turn to say it) so try harder to drink mor water and stay away from soda and not tooo many juices because the sugar is not good for the baby or you at this time gestational diabetes is not a good thing to get while prego. so try for the water as much as possible you can try to make it ice cold (that works) and also with a squirt of lemon for flavor.

If you don't like water (I don't blame you, I don't either!) the next best thing to drink is milk. It doesn't have as much sugar as juice, and has lots of nutrients in it to keep you healthy. If you're not able to drink milk then, for most people, juice would be your next best bet-although there is nothing wrong with soda as long as you don't OD on caffine or sugar.
You should however, talk to your doctor to see what they recommend for you specifically. For instance, my doctor told me that he would rather I drink diet soda (which is sugar free) than juice because juice has so much sugar and diabetes runs in my family, as long as I make sure not to get more than 300mg of caffine per day.
I have drank a diet pepsi almost every day of both of my pregnancies and my babies are both fine-but I also drink about a gallon a day of milk. Talk to your doc and do what they say.
Congrats on your little one!

I had to speak to a nutritionist because of being on WIC and I asked her about soda and it's the caffeine of coarse that is harmful but you can drink a certain amount a day (like a lil more than two 20 oz's) and I work graves and need my Mt.Dew pick me up still even though I have to suffer the heart burn from it but without it comes headaches from withdrawal. So I have one 20oz about every other day or every third day and then drink flavored water or milk other wise most of the time. Juice is great but it still has alot of sugar and calories so don't overdue all the time and drink nothing but reg. 100% juice or you might find yourself gaining quite a bit but its great to have a couple of times of day even. Talk to your doctor or call a local nutrishionist who I am sure would be happy to answer all your questions. Good luck.

Have you tried Crystal Light? It's a great way to get your water without getting all the sugar and calories that are in juice. Many pregnant women make the mistake of drinking large amount of juice while pregnant, but it's actually packed with sugar and not the best choice to get your fluids. It counts as a fruit serving though!
Soda, even without caffiene, actually dehydrates you and will not help you replace water in your diet.

Instead of 100% juice, why don't you try a mix of water and juice on the rocks.
Soda is hard on your kidneys during pregnancy. Too much juice can make you sick and mess with your blood sugar.
Drinking water instead of soda or juice just takes a habit that you have to develop. Try it with ice. Works for most.

its the sugar and the caffeine that will hurt the baby, i would have to say, drink milk, water, i found out that i was pregnant Nov 1, and i cut off coffee and pop, but i drink 7up and ginger ale if i am upset in the belly occasionally, i also stopped with pure apple juice, the midwife said that the juice is bad because of the sugar, in a cup there's 12 teaspoons of sugar. so maybe research it, and make an educated decision.

Go for the 100% juice. The next time you find yourself reaching for a soda can, read the ingredients.

Juice. Even if the soda is caffeine free, it doesnt have any other nutrients in it. At least with juice, you are getting sugars and vitamins from the fruits.
