Yikes... you have a long road ahead of you. :( I started getting morning sickness at 5 weeks and it didn't stop until about 13 weeks. You can always try saltine crackers before you go to bed and right when you wake up, anything with ginger is supposed to help relieve it, and just make sure you're eating something at least every 2 hours. I've also heard that peppermint candies help, so try eating a candy cane. If all else fails you can always talk to your ob about giving you some medication for it. Good luck.

Time is the only thing that will get rid of it.
You've gotten some good suggestions already for helping keep your tummy settled. One big thing is to just eat small snacks throughout the day. An empty stomach will feel worse than one wilth a little food in it. And obviously you don't want to get too full an uncomfortable either. But if you are unable to keep anything down, then call the Dr. There are prescriptions that can help. You don't want to get dehydrated or run low on the nutrition that the baby needs to grow healthy.

There's nothing really that will "get rid" of it...
But you can do things to help keep it under control...
Try saltine crackers in the morning, before you even get out of bed - or a handful of grapes.
Ginger-ale works for some people.
For me, when I started getting nausea, I'd suck on a sour candy. It helped.
You can also try eating small meals all day long instead of 3 large meals.
If you can't keep healthy foods down, eat whatever you can stomach even if it's potato chips. You need something in your stomach, and you can eat healthier when the morning sickness passes.
I just got over all my morning sickness and I'm 13 weeks.
Good luck to you!

There's no way to get rid of it. Sorry. I had morning (all day) sickness for almost 10 weeks. It was horrible. I couldn't eat or look at food and going out to restaurant's was a chore when trying to socialize and celebrate with my family different occassions. I'm 19 weeks and finally able to look at most foods. Some tips are to drink a lot of water and carry around soda crackers to munch on when you need something. Good luck!

There is really no way of getting rid of it. It's really due to your body adapting to hormonal changes needed to support the pregnancy.
Find simple foods you can keep handy like saltine crackers, juice, or instant oatmeal. (Oatmeal worked for me LOL in small amounts.) Make sure you don't get dehydrated. Also simple soups can help (chicken broth, chicken noodle). Avoid heavy, greasy, spicy foods.
Usually morning sickness goes away after the first few months. If you're nearly 6 weeks into it, be aware that it will subside in a few more weeks.

I feel ya. I had morning sickness from week 4 to week 15.
Try laying in bed, and eating a few saltine crackers, and drinking 7 Up or ginger ale or tea. They were the only things I could eat for awhile. Everything else made me sick just from smelling it.

I don't have any morning sickness, but the nurse at my OB's office said that anything with ginger in it will settle your stomach. Also, eat 3or 4 saltine crackers BEFORE you get out of bed in the morning, or even at night before you get up to go to the potty.
(She also told me that the Altoid's mints use ginger now, so if you can stomach a few of those every day, it might help a little bit!)

You poor thing. Their are so many remedies, saltines, ginger ale, sea bands unfortunately they don't always work for some people. I would look into essential oils they have been very successful for me in the past. Try not to let your tummy get empty that can make it worse. Remember to hydrate and by 12 weeks the worst of it should be over.

Get as much sleep as you can and never let your stomach go empty. My midwife had me eating a hand full of food every 30min, no more food, no less. She said to eat whatever I wanted and it would be best to stick to simple carbs(bread, crackers, pasta, potatoes...).It's hard to get your mind thinking that eating will actually make you feel better. I did best with salty foods and milk products like ice cream. Nothing will get rid of it but there are things that make it more manageable.

Ginger is supposed to help. There are preggie pops they are like suckers (never had them so I don't know what they taste like). Try ginger ale, ginger snaps...
There are also meds that your Dr. can give you. I took something when I have to fly, planes made me soooo sick and that was the only thing that made it better. But, it made me sleepy.
Good luck.
