I would for sure call your Dr...if there was a little blood, when she wiped, this sometimes happens as the vaginal walls are sensitive and also the blood vessels are closer to the surface because they are pumping more blood to the area (cervix) at this time.
It could also be not good as the placenta could have settled at the cervix...and this is called placenta previa....I was on bed rest my entire pregnancy because of this...any pressure on the cervix whatsoever causes bleeding...
call your ob....

Same thing happened to me at 3 months pregnant and I ended up losing the baby. I contacted my doctor right away and she just kept saying im fine as long as i dont get cramps or start bleeding heavily. Well i wasnt fine, about a week later I ended up getting cramps and started bleeding heavily, went to the ER and I had lost the baby. I would go to the ER so they can perform tests. I think If i would have done this instead of listening to my doctor there would have been a chance that I wouldnt have miscarried.

How much blood? Just a little might be COMPLETELY normal. Things are stretching and you may have just broken a few blood vessels, hence the spotting... have her call the nurse anyways to reassure things, but as long as it's not a lot of RED blood, she should be fine. I spotted after sex a lot, and my dr said it was normal... my son is now 8 months old... and healthy as can be.

First, don't panic. A small amount of blood after sex is common in pregnant women. However, nothing should ever be considered "normal" and she should call the doctor, just to let them know what happened.

Okay okay okay... don't flip out like everybody's saying. I experienced the same thing when I was pregnant with my daughter. I called my doctor and they told me that a little blood, especially following sex is pretty normal. The concern would be if she continues to bleed. If it's only a little bit & it's already stopped or does soon, she's fine.

Depending on how much, but no matter what call the dr to be safe...call him right away.
Also, it could be just from her cervix being engorged with blood(which happens duringprgnancy), and the cervix is more delicate and can bleed easily when pregnant, so that might be the case, hopefully that is the case. Goodluck and call the dr just to be safe.

Sometimes a pregnant woman can experience some blood after sex, it's not unheard of. If it lasts more than 24 hours, call her OB.

Let the doctor know. Your wife will probably be put on pelvic rest( no sex) until the doctor can see her. She might have a placenta abnormality and by you guys having sex, it was disturbed. In which case it's normal to have bleeding, but she'll still be told to not have sex. Good luck.

That happened to me at 4 months too. You should go to the doctors to make sure everything is okay, but it usually is just a little tear in the uterine wall. Make sure you take it easy next time you have sex.

Calm down, these people are freaking out on you.

Some spotting after sex is normal in pregnancy, especially the more pregnant she gets. Your penis irritates her cervix and results in some light spotting.

Seeing some blood is normal. BLEEDING is NOT normal, like she's on her period.

Next time, let her be on top and watch your penetration.
