yes Katherine is right, your muscles have been through a lot lately and you need to exercise them regularly everyday. Kegal exercises worked for me.

After having a baby everything tends to loosen up sorry to say. I've had three children and if I laughed, coughed, or sneezed too hard I felt like I could have been a spokesperson for Depends. Within a couple of months things will get better. You should practice doing Keigel exercises each and everyday, everything should tighten up almost back to normal or better, if you know what I mean??? If you don't know what Keigel means, look it up in the dictionary because I really don't want to define it on this page. If you take my advice and start to do this and you're still having these problems, contact your physician. Maybe your bladder muscles have become too elastistic and you'll need to be put on prescription meds. for it. The bladder medicine that my sister takes is very effective. Until you get exercising or to the doctor, pantyshields are the only option. Good Luck.

Yep. It does. Actually happened to me.......when I laughed, cried and sneezed. My ob assured me that this was normal, and it went away after awhile. You've been "traumatized", so to speak.......it just takes time. Muscles do what they're going to do..........Mine returned to normal after a short time. Weird, kinda gross subject I realize............but normal. Also, maybe try Kegal (spelling?) exercises. I haven't had issues since. Best of luck to you!

Pelvic floor muscles need a bit of a tune up.
Try to work them yourself. If that doesnt work it might be a repair job eventually for the gyno to do.
Thats a straight forward repair and quickly done.

I second that emotion.......Kegel exercises. and remember, your body just went thru some pretty traumatic changes so you'll probably have a few other "weird thingys" happening!! Congrats on the little one!!!!

WELCOME TO MOTHERHOOD! Consider the fact that you just had a baby that was sitting on top of your bladder for 9 months. If you exercise, your bladder will get back to normal soon. Wear pantyliners in the meantime.

Yes, it means your muscles are weak and need to be strengthened. Look up "Kegel exercises" and start doing them.

You've stretched out those muscles. Not at all unusual.

Exercise will help.
