I am on Trinessa (the pill) and I am always very worried about getting pregnant. I vary rarely let my partner go without a condom, but like it better when I dont make him wear one. When we do have sex without a condom I get worried about the side effects...getting pregnant. Is it okay to have sex without a condom and to have my partner ejaculate while inside of me if Im on the pill? What is the effectiveness of Trinessa, percentage wise, of not getting pregnant?

I use to be a size 5-9 depending on the pants. I am now 29 weeks pregnant and everywhere i go everyone tells me i am so small. i went to the doc at 28 weeks and i was told i measured 27cm which the doc said was fine so i was like ok. but see i keep getting compared to other pregnant woman and sometimes i feel like they are measuring my belly as a sign of health in my pregnancy or as a competiton. Before i got pregnant i ran, swam, and lifted wights. i weighed about 125lbs. i have 22lbs so far but it seems to not be enough to have that big love bump. on friday we went out to eat and a family friend who is also 7 months was huge, she is also very petite bodied but her tummy was huge. My bf sometimes ask if i am carrying my baby in my butt because that is the only thing that seems to be growing. but when ever people ask how far along i am and i say 7 months they say, really where is your baby at? Anybody went to through this? or just some experiences?

I just found out that I am pregnant. My partner does not want be to go through with the pregnancy. All the the reasons were about HIM, HE can't afford it, HE is not ready, HIS family will not accept it. I asked him well, what about me, and he said he is concerned about me as well, but that is as far as he goes about it. I am terrified and I am confused. I do not know what to do at all. Counsolors do not help much. I feel pressure by him to not have it. He has been by my side non stop since he found out, but he really does not want me to have it. He says we will not leave my side once "we get rid of it" but I honestly do not think that I can handle an abortion, I personally think that it is wrong. I do not think he will be any help if I decide to keep it. If I get rid of it he says he wont leave but whats to say he will not besides his word? I feel so lost, and just sont know whatto do. All the sudden within the last few weeks I have all kinds of bumps and pimples on my back and nowhere else really. I get the occasional pimple on my face, but this is just nasty! What do you recommend to clear this up?

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I've been having "braxton hicks" contractions for weeks now. Last night they kept me up all night long. I was trying to sleep so I didn’t keep track of them but it seem like they where all the time and they hurt. Now morning time I’m still having some and its hard to sit while urinating there was lots of pressure down there. I'm just wondering if anyone has had their labor begin this way, or if it's still braxton hicks or what. I've always heard that braxton hicks come and go, they don't carry on every few minutes. And I've also heard that they are painless until your water actually breaks. They're defiantly contractions because my stomach tightens up and it feels like she's balling up to the surface of my belly inside. Has anyone had their labor begin this way? If so, what’s your experience?

my stomach has been cramping for like almost a week...its not normal period or gas cramps.... and sometimes it gets really painful.
could this be a sign i'm pregnant????
I was on the pill but i stopped taking it for a few days due to a car accident and did not know that from then on i wouldn't be protected and i had sex.
I also have other pregnancy signs like bigger boobs, headaches that last for days, morning sickness.
I took a test and it came back negative but someone told me it was to soon to test.....
PLEASE someone help!!!

So here it is every year at y job I put on two shows at the elementary school and the high school they are dance shows that require a lot of time and preparation. I also work with special needs very hyper and defiant but these shows mean a lot to them and has changed the lives of many of them it gives them self-confidence and something to look forward to. Last year a kid told me if it wasn't for the show he would not of passed his classes. The only reason he worked so hard is he didn't want to loose his spot and if he failed he would get kicked out the show. I am now four weeks pregnant and I am due in July. These shows take place in June my husband came up to me this morning and pleaded with me not to do them he says it's to much stress I have never had a baby and I don't know how my body is going to act and I need to relax. While I agree my job as a dance drama teacher is give a show and I really don't want to disappoint the kids and staff. I have thought of all types of ways to do the show but at the end of the day no matter who helps me most of the responsibility is mine. Last year they also got rid of my assistant. What should I do?

I'm really confused. I found out that i was pregnant 2 days ago, and my boyfriend already decided i was to abort. I agreed, but now i have changed my mind. He has done this whole abortion thing with an ex, so thinks i'll be fine, but im really considering keeping it and ditching him after the way hes pushing me. I always thought he was a gentleman, we've been through so much together. I cant even face him. Do i have a termination to save my relationship or follow my heart? Please help!!

I think im pregnant, i am 20 yrs old with no long term man and no long term home.

I left home at 15 and since then have been renting where ever i can. I had a really bad experience wth a bloke at 16 and since then have not felt ready for another big relationship; although i still have the sex.

Im not saying that i sleep with a different bloke ever night! Far from it! But if i feel atracted to some one and want to have sex i do !

I know i have a problem with all that and it is something i have been working on, i have not had sex for the last 3 months because i had decided that i did not want to be that girl anymore and maby not right now but one day i want the romance and feelings, security and care that i know comes with a relationship.
But now i think im pregnant i know whose it is (im not that bad lol) but i cant get in contack with him. I scared and excited, dont know what to tell my mum and too scared to do a test right now. What sould i do???

Hello,

Firstly, I am 22 yrs old and My husband and i have been trying for a baby. I had a miscarriage @ 6 weeks in July and I think i may be pregnant again...I am having all of the same symtoms as before and i am 8 days late which is EXTREMLEY UNLIKE My cycle.

I am going to take a test tomorrow AM. If i am pregnant should a HPT show up as poitive at this point?

Also If i am pregnant i will be approx 5 wks and 1 day, (my last period was 23rd September) How soon could i request an ultrasound scan as i want to make sure that this baby is okay and put my mind at rest because of the previous miscarriage.

I took a pregnancy test and when i looked at it, it said no. So i threw it away. After a couple hours, I looked again and now it looks like a yes. What gives? Should I take another one? Is there a time limit on em that the result is void after so long? Any help is appreicated! Thankx!

HI everyone, as Ive said Im 38 weeks + 4days and for the past few days Ive been having a period like cramping feeling, its not really painful just feels achey. Anyway, today Ive been having a few pains in my back (not too many) but at 5am I got up and came downstairs for a drink, all of a sudden I got this really sore pain from the top of my belly that moved right down it before going away. My belly also went rock hard. As its my first, I haven't a clue whats going on lol (niave i know) I genuinely thought maybe things were starting but I haven't experienced it since. Still feeling crampy and baby's moving fine. Anyone have any ideas as to whats going on, don't wanna ring midwife with stupid questions! Thanks and sorry for rambling on x

My husband has decided in my last few weeks of pregnancy that he is not in a "good place" emotionally right now. As a result, I don't feel like I can count on him to help me through the delivery and afterwards. I don't want to spend the money on a Doula ($800), my parents are not the type to be good in the delivery room, and I have no close friends locally that could help. I also am embarassed by this whole situation, and don't really want to drag others into it. Is it unusual to show up to deliver a baby alone? Can it be done? My husband went to Lamaze with me, but he was miserable and thinks it's all a bunch of BS. I just don't think I can rely on him to be supportive and help out. I am even thinking of asking a cousin of mine to come help take care of the baby afterwards. Any advice?

Hi friends,
I'm in Dubai,UAE. Yesterday we went for medical checkup. I am 8 weeks pregnant and my periods were regular most of the time and the previous 3 months it was irregular and doctor said I am anemic and suggested medicines which i took regularly. In between I got conceived and we tested with pregnancy kit and it showed positive subsequently we went to one doctor and she too confirmed. We were asked to come for scan and by now I am 8 weeks pregnant. My last period was on 27th August 2007 and yesterday 28th October 2007 we went for scanning. They carried out the scanning and said they are not able to hear the heart beat. On the scan report they have mentioned " LATE CONSUMPTION , MISSED ABORTION SUGGESTED ". I called up the doctor today morning and she told it means the feutus is almost 99% dead and 1% chances are there. Just before the scan I had three glasses of water. We are going for scanning after 10 days again to confirm. Please advice me and i want my baby. - Poongs

I am 37 weeks now, so getting close! I am quite sure that I will get an epidural if pain becomes unbearable during labour..I will try the gas and air first but I dont see the point of being in more pain than necessary, when I dont have to!

However...I keep having everyone tell me not to get the epidural, my mother, my mother in law etc...they act like I am being a wimp, and say 'well we done it, so can you'! I even had a friend, who is not and has never been pregnant say (in a really irritating way) 'Well when I give birth I am going to do it without any pain med, just to say that I have done it'...I mean, its not a competition amongst women as to who is the 'strongest'!!!!

Why do some woman act like this, like they are better than those who decide to take the epidural, it is driving me crazy!!!

what do braxton hicks feel like, are they in your back or front?if you say they feel like labour pains, my first labour was all in my back just unbelivable ache in the back would they feel like that?
are you more likely to get them on 2nd pregnancy than 1st etc

can anyone help me please, my baby was due on 24th october, and there are still no signs of him/her arriving. ive had a membrane sweep on 25th and im due to be induced on sat 3rd nov if not arrived before, my periods are very regular (28days) so why do some babies arrive before and some arrive late. is there anything wrong with my baby as im 5 days overdue now? thanks please help.

Is this normal? When does it normally happen?"

Is that true? Ive been expecting any moment for a week or so now, I'm already 3cm dilated and 100% engaged, could this be it or just bs?

just started to bleed iam 5 weeks prego and mc my last preg at 7 weeks !!!!
its red blood but not much only realy wen i wipe and thats all and no cramping as yet....(only 1 tiny spot on pad- and it started 4 hr ago)
its diff from last time as i had bad cramping followed by lots of heavy blood... im so scared iam mc'ing again
iv just been to the doc and had a blood test and my next blood test is on wed so they can c if my levels r going up or down, so its just a waiting game now......worried
has this happened 2 anyone else????
