As long as if you are using milk to make it you use pasteurized milk in it. I have a warm cup of hot chocolate before bed to help me sleep. Enjoy!

Oh yes chocolate does have caffeine in it, but you can have up to 300mg of that a day while pregnant without hurting the baby at all. The average hot chocolate has only 9mg of caffeine for every 8 oz of hot chocolate, so you are in the clear!

It is fine to drink hot chocolate. If you make it with milk, then it is a great source of calcium too.

I don't see why not just don't drink a lot of it because of how much sugars are in it.
