OK I just asked:
"Breasts leaking? Is this normal?
I'm expecting my first baby any day now. Through the pregnancy Ive been getting little drops of milk out of my breasts, but I haven't rely gotten the 'mommy boobs' yet.
For some reason tonight its like a steady drip. I cant understand it, could it be something I did? I didn't take my shower any hotter, and I am wearing my favorite night shirt, I didn't use soap on them or do anything out of the ordinary...
I put pressure on it, put on a snug sports bra, I tried taking everything off them and not touching them, nothing is helping it. Its just a few drops at a time but its steady, and its hasn't gone away in about an hour.
Is this normal? When does it normally happen?"

and one person responded with:
"yes its normal. your body is preparing your baby. clear sign your gonna go into labor any minute."

Is that true? Ive been expecting any moment for a week or so now, I'm already 3cm dilated and 100% engaged, could this be it or just bs?

It's colostrum that you're body is producing right now. most women do leak near the end of their 3rd trimester. Is it a sure sign that you're going into labor? Of course not. Every pregnancy is different. Some women don't get their milk until a couple of days after they've given birth.

Good luck!!

Leaking milk is not a reliable sign that labor is near. Some women leak milk all throughout their pregnancy. Some don't have any until after baby is born.

And your cervical status doesn't mean much either. I sat at 3cm and 100% for nearly 3 weeks with my last child.

You didn't say how many weeks you are, but you must be close to due. Labor could come at any time, hours from now, or weeks from now (if you're 36-38 weeks).

Good luck!

I leak a little all throughout my pregnancies, so it's not a sign you're about to go into labor. I'm 17 weeks now and have seen some leakage already.

Also if you are cm dilated that is not a reliable sign that labor is imminent. Many women stay engaged and dilated for many weeks before actually delivering.

More reliable signs of impending labor is losing all of your mucus plug, bloody show, persistent backache and waters leaking or breaking.

congratulations you are soon to be a mommy and how lucky you are that your breasts are ready for the new little one. Often it takes several days after delivery for the breasts to catch up so to speak. But your baby will be able to nurse and be rewarded for his/her efforts immediately. God Bless you and the new little one.

well i leaked for 2 months before i gave birth to my baby so i wouldnt go on it being a sign that you are going to go into labour, it is your body getting ready but its not a labour sign.
