Yes I have heard of it and had it actually!!

I began to get blood in my snot when I would blow my nose with both my pregnancies. At first I thought it was the dry air but then when I discussed it with my doctor she informed me it's a common symptom with pregnancy. Your veins are pumping and expanding, along with your oxygen intake so it happens you might get a bit of blood when you blow your nose and what not. It is nothing to worry about and mine went away with my first pregnancy right after my son was born, though I don't have it as much with this newest pregnancy.

Blood In Nose

Hormonal changes during pregnancy and the pressure of your increased blood supply on the delicate membranes in your nose may cause these membranes to swell, dry out, or bleed more easily during pregnancy. This may cause you to have a constant stuffy or runny nose, even if you have no cold symptoms. You may have occasional nosebleeds, particularly during the winter months. These symptoms often begin towards the end of the first trimester and may continue until after delivery.

Yes. While you are pregnant, the respiratory tract lining receives more blood. This is a result of certain hormones that stimulate the blood flow in the body. As a result, the respiratory tract is often much more congested, and any dried blood there will be expelled via the nose.

I get blood noses when I'm pregnant and I know a couple of other people who get them while pregnant too. But I haven't heard of dried blood before.
