I am just curious. My husband and I want a surprise, so we don't know whether we are having a girl or boy. A lot of people are very surprised by our decision, and I was curious to find out how many of you want the surprise.

I feel like I am having a boy, but I really have no idea!

I recently found out I had a yeast infection and a bladder infection both. I took the medicine that was prescribed to me and both has cleared up, but now I have something called Bacteria Vaginoses? I dont know what it is or has it is contracted.. The doctor did however give me a vaginal cream to use called Clindesse.. I am worried about using it. Why I dont know I guess it just scares me to have something wrong and not know what it is.. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you learn from it.. I mean how do you get it, and how well does the medicine work? Please help me. I have never had any kind of problem like this, and this is my 2nd pregnancy. It just seems like everything is hitting me at once..

Okay so I have been doing a ton of yard work lately. Lots of bending over...By the end of the day I can hardley move, but the next day I am ready to go again. Is this okay to be doing so much work? Next question is I have this big vein thing kinda sticking way out of my left side of my vagina. It is this big swirly vien looking thing, but it is not blue. It looks really gross...It does not really hurt much, should I be worried--I never had it before in my other 2 pregnancies? Lastly, I have been having those sharp cervix shock feelings for the past couple weeks...Does this mean that the baby is dropping already? If so is it too soon for the baby to drop? I go to the doctor on Friday but would love more input on things. Thanks a ton in advance:)

I have really swollen ankles, is this normal at this stage of pregnancy? I work part time, but I'm not on my feet that much, maybe 2 hours a day. My feet and ankles are really sore and itchy too, did anyone else experience this?

I've been on the combined pill for 2 months now and usually i take it at the same hour every day. every month there were a couple of days when i was late, but never more than 2 and a half hours (most of the times i was late by 15 minutes or something). the pack leaflet says it still works if you miss a whole day, just as long as you go on with it. Got my periods on time.
worried cose today, halfway through my third pack (taken 10 pills out of 21), i feel my breasts are getting a bit bigger and tender. took a test yesterday came out negative but guess it's just too early to tell. could i be pregnant? has anybody experienced tender breasts while on the pill and can it be something else than pregnancy?

I was tested positive For Group B Strep. I am getting induced on the 14th (as I just posted) and they are starting me out on antibiotics. Has anyone had experience with this, and can you tell me how it went?

Was it terribly uncomfortable? I am scheduled for an ultrasound the 22nd of this month, and I'm not sure which kind they will do. So, was it awful or just a little uncomfortable? What should I expect with a transvaginal untrasound?

I am 10 wks and 1 day. At my last dr. appt, I was told that I could be farther along. At my appointment, I was supposedly 8 wks, 6 days. We were able to hear the heartbeat fairly easy with the doppler. The midwife could feel my uterus also. In the past few days, I have had funny little bubbly feelings that are different from gas. I usually feel them after I have been somewhat active and then sit down or lay down to rest. They feel very similar to the fluttery feelings that I felt with my first 2 children, but I didn't feel them this early. I first felt them at about 17 weeks with my first and about 15 to 16 weeks with my second. Could these fluttery/bubbly feelings be the baby this early?

and last night i had so much pain in my pelvic area on my left side only, like maybe the baby was stuck trying to finish getting into posistion. ive had some braxton hicks contractions today and only some of my mucous plug came out yesterday plus im having lots of yellowish clear discharge (dr said it was normal) anyone else having the same thing? does it mean that i might have him early. i'm completely lost because my daughter was induced. I'm also only 50-60% effaced with no dialation yet, but that was before my mucous plug. Thanks in advance!

I am 37 weeks pregnant and my doctor stripped my membrane yesterday. But this morning when I went to the bathroom, I had this WAY massive alot of muccus discharge. It was like snot and with a light tinge of blood. But it was really light blood. But the discharge was really like snot. Do you think that it's weird that I started to spot 24 hours after she stripped me or do you think that it could be bloody show? Please help me out. Thanks!

Okay to start off I know it's not good to diet while pregnant and that isn't my intent. I've already gained ALOT of weight, 43 pounds and I'm only 32 weeks pregnant. I wonder if it's safe or a way that I can possibly not gain anymore weight. I'm not trying to lose weight, i guess regulate it until the baby is born. I've actually haven't been gaining too too much lately. I put on alot of the weight right in first trimester. ( I went from constantly working out (bootcamp) to having a back injury to becoming pregnant during the back injury so i was taking it easy and not being able to do much exercising.) Any good suggestions and if it's safe?

I was told today that if you're on the pill, there's no way besides a pregnancy test of knowing that you're pregnant, because you get your periods no matter what if you're on the pill. Is this true, though? Especially because you are supposed to get off the pill immediately if you are pregnant, it seems like still getting your period would be a bad thing.

I am 12 weeks pregnant now, and my boyfriend has made it quite clear that he does not want us to have intercourse for the rest of the pregnancy. He said it is psychological, and went on about hurting the baby etc, even though I have showed him countless articles/books which state that sex in pregnancy is fine. Despite my best efforts (!) I just cant get him to change the way he feels, and although I feel closer to him, as we are having this baby together, I also feel frustrated and confused as to why he feels like this. I cant go the on the next 6 months like this!! :) Has anybody else had a similar problem?

I am a newlywed & I have most the symptoms of pregnancy. I missed my period, my back and lower stomach ache all the time, I am craving for pickles, and I am hungry alot. When I did the blood test it came out positive but when the ultrasound was done there was no indication of pregnancy. So I had to do a blood test then in 2 days I have to do another blood test. Does that mean I am not pregnant or is it too early to determine through ultrasound if I am pregant or not. I've been married for 3 weeks now. Why did the blood test came out positive and the ultrasound didn't? Should I be conserned?
