And I am NOT having twins. I'm 18 weeks now and this is first baby to make it to 12 weeks. Has anybody else felt movement this early?
Thanks!

I was asking if anyone else felt movement this early, not if it was possible. I have both confirmed that I am indeed feeling the baby move by my doctor and I've felt it before from the outside with my hand.
I was pretty surprised a man tried to answer the question! How can you feel a baby move from the inside at all if you are man? LOL:)

yes. My son was as active in utero as he is in life! I felt him move at 12 weeks too.

My first real distinct feeling of my baby moving was around 16 weeks and it was like tiny flutters. I'm almost 12 weeks with my second baby now and I have had many strange feelings, pulls, twinges, stretches and even pokes but I know it is not the baby because the baby is still quite low in my pelvis and the feelings i've been having are more higher in my abdomen. It depends where you are feeling the movements, if your feeling movement above your pelvis, chances are it's not your baby, but soon enough it will be.

I felt this baby at 12 wks (the butterfly's) by 16 wks I was feeling very strong movements, by 17 wks my husband could feel the movement with his hands!!..... It is not your imagination... I don't know why people think they know what you are feeling.... this is my second child, so I know what it feels like.... I think if you are skinny, and the baby is in just the right position you can just feel it sooner..... I also started feeling the outline of my baby (the head and body) when I was around 17 wks.... I am now 19wks and feel movement constantly.... CONGRATS! Enjoy feeling your baby! and don't let anybody tell you your nuts!

I swear I felt my baby move a lil bit earlier than that. People kept telling me its GAS and stuff but they're not me..I sure as hell know how my gas bubbles feels like. Now I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow and there will be days my baby will move a lot and some days it won't.

I was always told that you couldnt feel the baby move until 20 weeks or so. I felt it move at week 16. Oh yeah, ignore the people that tell you its your imagination. You know when the baby moves... no one else does.

i recntly lost a bab at 12 week to a rare ectopic. i have one healthy child so know what a baby movin feels like but i could have sworn i felt my ectopic baby move, on many occassions. but this mwould have been impossible as my baby was implanted on the edge of my tubes, so had no roome to move...
it's true what they say, many women think they feel movement but it is just wind. everything down in the abdomen has changed shape to allow for your groeing uterus, so feeling wind in thsi way is not so hard to believe.
good luck!! i wish i was still pregnat.

It's possible that you are farther along than you suspect. Then again, it's possible that your youngster(s!) could just be very active. Good luck and many blessings on you and your child!
