Believe it or not they're as accurate as the urine tests they give at the doctor's office. (99% accurate)
A blood test is a bit more accurate (100% accuarte)

Blood pregnancy tests will tell you most definately. As for store bought tests, it is best to take them AFTER you miss a period, and use it in the morning, the first time you urinate after waking up. If you do this it should be accurate. And always remember, there is no such thing as a false positive. The test can only be wrong if it's negative, but if it says positive, you are most likely pregnant.

Yes,they are very accurate, the only other method more accurate is a blood test, which should follow a positive reading on a home pregnancy test.A negative reading on one of these tests does not mean you are not pregnant and in some instances a positive reading on these tests does not mean you are so it is important if you think you are pregnant to consult this way you can decide what to do from there.

Blood test are more accurate but I have only had a few of them done. I have mostly been considered pregnant by urine test at the doctor. I would say if you get a positive then you are pregnant if it is a dollar test do take two lots of women have had false postitives from those.

They both are pretty accurate. The blood test is more accurate then the urine test though.

No, store bought tests are not that accurate. (Well at least the First Response anyways....)
I had a friend that took the home pregnancy test for three months and it never said pregnant although she didn't have her period for these three months.
She finally broke down and bought the digital test that said Pregnant or Not Pregnant and it showed Pregnant!!!
When she went to the doctor, she was three months pregnant!!
I would not trust the First Response or anything other than the digital store bought test!!
