I am 37 weeks pregnant and my doctor stripped my membrane yesterday. But this morning when I went to the bathroom, I had this WAY massive alot of muccus discharge. It was like snot and with a light tinge of blood. But it was really light blood. But the discharge was really like snot. Do you think that it's weird that I started to spot 24 hours after she stripped me or do you think that it could be bloody show? Please help me out. Thanks!

That may have been part of your mucus plug. But when I was pregnant I had the same thing happen to me and I didn't lose my whole plug at one time so you may still have some left. If I were you I would make an appt. with your doctor and see if you are dilating or anything.

What you saw was a little bit of bloody show and the mucus plug that closed your cervix.
Give your doctor a call because you might need to go back in once contractions start.

Normal..Dont go rushing to the hospital unless you want a %80 chance of a c-sec...Wait....just wait... things are happening, but it's not yet time to run...wait until you cant talk through the contractions, and watch for the emotional signposts of labor..Google that term if you want to know what they are...things are happening, but you still may have some time..

It sounds like it is bloody show. My doc done the same thing when I had my first..she was a week late..so she done that to help me go in labor and it worked. That was on a friday and I had my little girl on Sat/Sun..

Well, first of all, what in the world does stripping your membrane mean? makes my uterus hurt. Second of all, discharge and light bleeding sounds like a normal pregnant woman's situation.
