I read somewhere that if a man tests positive on a pregnancy test it is a sign of prostate cancer...also if you remember the episode of Greys Anatomy where a man tested postive on a pregnancy test and looked pregnant...it was his twin growing in his belly like a tumor that had to be removed....it is usually called a disappearing twin....this was based on a true story and there was a news special called Medical Mysteries that featured it..except the man was from India I believe....this is a very rare occurence, but it has happened!!!

I don't know about the whole cancer thing that a few people suggested (i'm definately not disbelieving it!).
However, my boyfriend claimed that if a male took a pregnancy test it would come out positive. I completely disbelieved. I'm 5 weeks pregnant and had a left-over HPT. I made him take it and it was negative!

When the male fertilizes the egg, it travels into the uterus and uterine lining. A secretion called human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) is given off in the urine.
I don't believe there's a way to see that in a male.

Only if the test itself is defective. Since men cannot get pregnant they will not have the pregnancy hormone.
