Signs you get when your Pregnant?

2007-05-15 10:26:41 · 4 answers · asked by Anonymous

I am 6 months pregnant and want to quit my job. I am completely stressed out because of work, not only is my job strenuous but I work in a hostile environment where one of my superiors and myself are not getting along. I have brought this up to my supervisor’s attention but the problem has not been resolved. She just made us both sign something.

If I was not pregnant I would defianelty quit my job and find another job more suitable and less stressful job. I have even tried to look for a job but employers are not willing to hire a 6-month pregnant woman. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to keep my current job because I need to support my family but i am gettin to the point where i am just going to quit. Can i collect unemployment?

Please if you have any information i can use, please inform me.

Thank you!

I live in CA

I am experiencing some symptoms that are making me think that I might be pregnant. I am extremely tired, mor tired than usual, I have some really sharp pains in my lower abdomen, not like cramps, but stabbing pains. I can eat like crazy, and I normally have a very small appetite, I have put on a little weight, and I am kind of moody. But I have taken 2 pregnancy tests, and they have come out negative

I am 38 weeks pregnant with my second child and I am planning on breastfeeding for at least the first year. I know that some birthcontrol methods can affect your milk production. My husband is getting a vasectomy but that isnt scheduled until september. What are some effective birthcontrol methods that will work with breastfeeding?
Going to ask my OB about it at my next visit but i would like some ideas before i go in. Thank you!

I am not sure if I am doing the calculations right. But if my last period was March 21st then does that mean that I am on week seven going to eight on pregnancy? I am not sure if I am calculating this right and have not yet seen a doctor.

Like there's over 100's of people at the age of 14 having babies is it because their mother don't care about them or what they do?

I know that pregnant women of size(plus size) can understand where I am coming from. I don't understand why the maternity clothing for us is so so so so so much higher than those for smaller women. Yes I know there is more material, but it is so much higher than even our regular clothing. Not to mention there are almost no stores to purchase plus size maternity.

Tell me why!!!!?

I have two kids already and I was only able to breastfeed them for 6 weeks. I did it exclusively no pumps or anything. I still dried up. I was on birthcontrol and the doctor told me it was fine. Is that what caused me to dry up so quickly? I would love to breast feed longer. I have seen post where some have breast fed for years. I don't want to breastfeed that long but I would like to at least untill they get their first tooth. I am pregnant with my third and I would like some more light on this subject. I have a book about breastfeeding and I have tried everything in it before but it still didn't seem to help. I would really like to have some tips on this before my new arrival gets here so that I may be able to breastfeed a little longer.
Thank you to everyone who tries to help on this.

I am two months pregnant and there is a family of skunks living under my house. We can't get rid of them. They often spray and ooohhh man they really make me sick with morning sickness and all. Does any one know if this extremely strong smell can harm my baby if around it atleast twice a week. First pregnancy sorry for the ignorance.

I'm 14 weeks and already starting to show when I wear my normal clothing. I'm a very petite girl, only 5'1 and 100lbs. I'm planning on going home to Louisiana visit my family durning the summer. I live in Alaska and don't have ANY summer clothing due to the cooler weather here. I need to know if I should buy maternity clothing or just normal clothing. I've notice that the past two weeks my bellie has been growing a bit faster. What do ya'll think?

I had to have another C-section 3 weeks ago (#2). My husband has severe male factor, and it is amazing that we have been able to even get pregnant. Our first doc we saw said we had to have IVF. We wanted to start trying in 8 months for the next one in hopes to have 3 or 4 children. My doc told me though that he recommends all repeats wait until 15 months to start trying so that the time between sections is a minimum of 2 years. We wanted to start trying at 8 months because it took us over a year and a half to get pregnant with baby #2. Is this pretty standard, or is this one of those things where doctors opinions vary? I am 26, and I was really hoping to be finished having children around early 30s or before. I have read on forums where women have repeats much sooner. Our goal really is to start at 8 months in hopes of getting pregnant by 15 months. Thanks so much!

My period is supposed to come on the 17th. Right now I'm having dull pains on both sides and at times it gets intense. I don't think I'm pregnant but there's always a chance. What is this? Could it be an infection with my ovaries? This happens every once in a while. I was recently tested for stds and I don't have any. What could it be?

My vagina is very, very tight. I am now 5 months pregnant with my fiance and i can't decide on whether i should deliver natural or c- section. I don't want the baby to absolutely destroy my vagina. I know people say it goes back to normal but that is very hard to believe considering the size of the baby etc.We have such an excellent sex life i don't want to destroy it by ripping my vagina to shreds. Any ladies have some thoughts from experience here. Thanks
