Pregnancy - May 2007

its been three months since we got married, and the first month we had the honeymoon and everything.. and the second month too, we had sex every single day.. but the last month, i got this really bad backache which dint allow us to even hug, and i think may be we had sex once or twice, but what do you know, i got pregnant this month.. why is pregnancy such a tricky business ? :)

A friend of mine has not had her period for over three months. She tests every two weeks and the pregnancy results always come back negative. However, she is concerned that she might have a tubal pregnancy, which-from what I hear-are not shown on a pregnancy test-false readings. She hasn't any signs or anything. However, she does not have insurance and does not want to go to the doctor or hospital unless if she has too-if she has a tubal pregnancy she knows this must be taken care of immediately since this is life-threatening. I neek to know the signs so she and I can be aware of them. Is there a gradual showing of symptoms or do they come at once? Also, how long after conception do these symptoms appear?

i have been having pains since 2pm yest about every 45 mins they went to every 30 mins about 7pm then i had a show last night at 9.30pm, i was very uncomfortable during the night and unable to sleep. i went to the midwife this morning she just sent me home and gave me an appointment for next week.i am 34 wks pregnant and am still getting pains today, they are painful but not unbarable i also have back ache. anyone any ideas or experience with this situation. this is my 3rd child.

My little sister has had two kids already, given one up, and is now on her third child. I on the other hand, am on my first child. All she wants to talk about is her pregnancy this her that. Never once, has she asked about me or anything.
What really did it for me, is We were talking one day, and I told her I had to go take a nap, I was falling asleep on the phone-no one told me being pregnant took ALL of your energy out of you!!!! She replies with, oh ya, well try having twins.
I told her, well you have had two babies already, I have had none, I have no idea what is coming next, she at least has some idea.
That is only one of many examples. Am I being selfish for wanting her to pay more attention to my first pregnancy?
What should I tell her?]

me and my partner have been trying for a baby for 7months the last 3 months i have been late on my period but then i have bled really lightly for a day i keep doing test but there negative, i have been feeling sick and sore breasts but i keep getting these light periods and negative results, to me it seems my belly is going outwards as well but its only hard now and then please help advice needed

I am male, so I will never truly know the answer to this question, but I was wondering how many women felt a spiritual, mystic and/or psychic connection to their baby during pregnancy? Did you feel you "knew" the child? Did you feel his/her emotions? Did you feel like you could read each other's thoughts?

one night i went over to a friend's to have dinner and i ate a whole lot of food.
but now.. i'm five months pregnant!
i don't know how it happened!!
my friends keep making fun of me because i'm a guy carrying a baby.
even my gf makes fun of me and rubs my tummy while i'm driving.

I am 3 months pregnant with my second baby and my wisdom teeth are killing me. I know that I probably won't be able to get them fixed because Iam pregnant and Ib profin is the only thing that helps. Will it hurt my baby by taking it?

im on my period right now and i wanted to know if it was ok to take a pregnancy test while im on it?? ..i've been having many signs except for the fact that i didnt miss my period (although it was 3 days late).... and i would rather take it instead of stressing myself out about it... its day 3 of my period and im barely bleeding anymore.. so i bought a preg test tonight and i was planning on taking it tomorrow morning.. but i didnt know if that would have some kind of effect on my results? ...should i wait till im completely done bleeding, or is it ok to take it first thing tomorrow morning?

has any one else had this before when they are pregnant here is the thing i am 26weeks pregnant and recently for the past 2weeks i ahve been waking up every 3hrs for no reason
for example i go 2 sleep at 1am then i wake up at 4am then go back 2 sleep then wake up at 7am etc

**KIND OF LONG, BUT PLEASE READ ALL** Okay, my fiance and I are getting married on June 21st, 2007. Reason; we have always wanted a summer wedding. We have a really nice house. Each of our four children have their own rooms. We have rooms to spare, and a nice backyard and frontyard. My point is, we are in a really stable living situation. We were considering adopting one more child, but we're not sure. We have two biological twins and two adopted kiddies. My question to you is, would 5 kids be too many? I mean, once again, we live in a great area and we have a lovely home. We both make a nice amount of money and Tristan and I...well, we have been together since we were teenagers. What do you think? Please do not be really nasty. Just be honest =)

Ok, the last few days I have been very EXHAUSTED. (like when you are coming down with something) and also a little nauseious every now and then.. I didn't think too much of it, because I felt like this is the beginning of the pregnancy ( I am 25 weeks now)
But today, I was nauseous all day and when I did eat, I had diarrhea not too long after. I ate lunch and started to feel nauseous while eating, so I stopped... I went to the bathroom to put water on my face (which was RED) and went to the bathroom. I had very watery diarrhea which was reddish in color and black specks all throughout. I took my temp and it is 98.7.... no fever, yet I feel like crap.

There has been a "shigella' outbreak in my area, which is a bacteria thats main symptom is diarrhea. I do plan on calling the doctor in the morning regardless, but do you all think I should go into the ER tonight, even though I don't have a fever? anf also, what does this sound like to you all? I am kind of freaking out.

This is going to sound really stupid and i know im probably just getting panicked cos its so close but something has been worrying me lately.
Last year i had a missed miscarriage and when the doc examined me my womb was showing no signs of opening to let the baby out, even tho the scan was saying the baby had died 3 weeks before there was still no sign of my body doing anything. Whats scaring me is this pregnancy, im near the end now 38 weeks on thursday and have had a lot of problems throughout it. I was wondering if maybe my womb has something wrong with it that prevented it opening? I know sounds dumb, but im a little worried that it is a possibilty i havent asked my doctor cos im embarrassed. What do you guys think?
