Who ever told you that was wrong unless otherwise told by a doctor. The main reason pregnant women don't have sex is because it can be very uncomfortable. There are certain positions however that help take the stress off of the stomach. This website has a great list of positions that work well for pregnant women http://www.pregnancy-info.net/sex_positions.html

Pregnant women can have sex unless told otherwise by a doctor. Where did you get this information? Some pregnant women even find they enjoy sex more throughout pregnancy.

Unless the doctor tells a pregnant woman otherwise, if there is some complication - there is no reason a pregnant woman can't have sex. However, hormones swing during pregnancy, so there may be times she doesn't feel like it at all, and other times she is going to be all over her husband!

I am not sure where you live, or who told you that, but it is untrue. Women can have sex up until delivery. Now there are OB/GYN's that do recommend caution when in the 9th month, as the activity can induce labor. I had sex 6 hours before I went into labor, I woke up and my water had broke. They tell you to exercise caution, I was 38 weeks and my husband is a sex fiend. I gave birth 5 hours after my water broke.

Oh we can have sex!!! (I'm 41 weeks pregnant).

I was put on bed rest by my doctor and told "no sex and no orgasms" between weeks 16 and 36 of my pregnancy - disappointing!

But after week 36, when I was told me baby was OK even if she was born then, we've been making the most of it! LOL

It can be uncomfortable when you're really big, but if you can find the right position, it's fine! Pregnant women often have a much higher sex drive to and can even enjoy it more!

Towards the end of pregnancy you can also try sex to help induce labour naturally, female orgasm and the prostglandin in sperm can help bring on contractions!

They can if they want to. The only time a doc may tell you not to is if you experience a threatened miscarriage (bleeding in early pregnancy) and even then its only for the first 3 months. You cant have sex once your waters have broken either.

Pregnant women can have sex, unless there's a problem and their doctor tells them not to!

I can personally attest to the fact that pregnant women can have sex. Some people used to believe that sex hastened labor, but this has since been disproven.
