Your physicians office most likely has a nurse advice line that you can call. The greatest concern with ibuprofen is use in the third trimester as it can cause premature closure of the duct us (a change in the cardiovascular system that should not typically occur until after birth).
Although ibuprofen is not the pain reliever of choice during pregnancy, use as directed at three months gestation is unlikely to cause any major difficulties.

Apparently taking Ibruprofen isnt advised/recommended at all during pregnancy - but there are times where paracetamol just wont cut it LOL. Many women get real drunk and all sorts before they realise they are pregnant - and as a one off it doesn't seem to affect the child. As you havent tested positive yet then I'd say to take a couple and see if it works - you'd feel silly if your test was negative and you've suffered so long with a headache. Fingers crossed for your +ive test tomorrow - and I hope the headache disappears whatever you decide to do!!

It should be ok for you to take ibuprofen at this point in pregnancy. Doctors advise you not to use it before 8 weeks, bc of the babys organs forming and after 32 weeks, bc of ductus arteriosus (premature closure of a major blood vessel near the baby's heart). Dont let that scare you. Thats only if you take it on a regular basis while pregnant. If tylenol doesnt help your pain then it should be safe for now as long as you dont take it all the time. Talk to your doctor about it. He/she can tell you more on it. They may be able to help you with the pain as well. hope that helped.

Take nothing that your OB doesn't approve. Mine didn't even want me taking extra-strength tylenol (only the regular stuff) - no advil, no aleve, etc. without the doctor's ok. It's better to be safe. Maybe ice, heat, massage, or even a night guard might help with that dental pain. Hope you're feeling better soon.

First of all, this is a question for your OB/GYN. They don't mind if you call their after hours number with these questions. And if your doctor does, then I would look into a different doctor.
The doc should have given you a list of over-the-counter medicines you are allowed to take through your pregnancy. If not, get one.

I wouldn't worry if i were you...I popped a lot of ibuprofin's during pregnancy because I had severe carpal tunnel syndrome...sometimes 8-12 of them a day...I gave birth to the most beautiful and healthiest baby girl four months ago...just don't take aspirin. Ibuprofin is much safer because aspirin can cause you to bleed.

take only half of it, and dont overload on them the further you are the less meds you should take because they give complications and asprin is a big no no. you should def however follow up with your dentist and make regular visits to the dentist because your teeth become weak when you are pregnant from the baby taking calcium away from you

Well, I wouldn't take it. I have three kids of my own and the doctors advise (especially in the early stages) not to take anything stronger than tylonel unless prescribed by them. I would call my doctor and if he didn't give me anything then I would take extra strenth tylonel or maybe one aleve.
