Pregnancy - May 2007

I went for my 39 week appointment Monday and doc did first exam on cervix for dialation. He said I was dialated about the size of a fingertip (I am guessing that's about 1) and that I had a long cervix. What does that mean? Will the delivery be more difficult? More painful? I am not due till Wednesday but he is inducing me on Sunday. Just wondering if this is all normal or if I should be worried. He didn't seem worried but I am just wondering...

i took a pregnancy test last week it was positive. then 2 days later i started spotting then my bleeding got a little heavier. since than i have been bleeding and cloting, i had a tissue come out and it was bloody after that i have had clots. i went to the docters and i got blood work done and i have to go back on friday to get another blood work done. i wont know if i had a miscarriage until monday.. please if anybody have gone thru what im going thru please let me know if this is a misarriage..

On June 9th, "knocked up" comes out in the movie theatres and I will be 1 month from my due date (due July 7th).
Is it ok for me to go to a movie theature?? I really want to see that movie!
My husband said that they do not permit women to go into the theatre after 8 months pregnant because they are a liability and can go into labor and disrupt the movie and they would have to refund everyone's money for the inconvienance.
Is that true? or is he just being silly?

the whole month of april i was having all these pregnancy symptoms which includes vaginal discharge alot painfull but not alot of cramping random burping, sore breasts, back pain only vomitted for 2 weeks but it was weird like i wasnt sick or anything but i knew wen i had to go, and frequent trips to the bathroom, now this month , breasts got more sore nipples very sore stomach feels bloated and hurts wen i walk if im not careful, bleeding was excessive but now lighter still bleeding though for about 2 weeks now, and i have massive massive cramps in my stomach and back sometimes at the same time which suchs fatige and very tierd like i could sleep anywhere but wen i get to bed at night cant fall asleep still burping never did that before so i kno sumthings up with all these symptoms wat do u think it is?
oh and i also drink smoke ciggs and weed

i did a pregnancy test after 2 weeks of my period...it came out positive , i think so because there were two lines but one of the lines were not very clear...could i be pregnant? what are the possibilities that i'm pregnant? if i'm not pregnant, could the two lines appear?

my fiancee and i lost our last pregnancy though this one is going great we are just a few days short of 11 weeks and hes scared to touch me it weirds him out with the cervical liquid volume increase and hes scared because of what happened last time so we've been unable to not only that but during most of my first trimester i haven't felt too wonderful but my nausea is easing up a little bit and my libido is raising and i'm just wondering if theres anything i can do to make him more comfortable i've already explained my cervix is protected by the mucus plug and the baby is surrounded by the amniotic fluid and sac in my placenta so he can't hurt the baby but this isn't easing his troubled mind at all its like weirding him out though to want to be intimate in anyway and i'm not sure what to do to make him comfortable any ideas?

i have a 1 year old and my mom was really supportive cause i was only 15 and stupid but i went to a party 2 months ago and got drunk n had sexx with some guy i dont know that well and now im starting 2 show the symptoms of being pregnant again? i dont want 2 get an abortion cause i really dont think i could handle knowing i killed an inisant baby 4 no reason..........my bf is mad cause it wont be his real kid....should i have the baby or get an abortion? and if your gonna answer meanly dont answer? im serious about this and dont want 2 waste my time reading mean answers

i am 27 weeks pregnant and it seems like my baby moves all of the time....this has been happening since i was about 19 weeks and felt her for the first time....has anyone had experience with an active baby in the womb and does it translate to an active baby outside of the womb??? my husband and i are very mellow people and were the same as babies...just wondering what to expect!

I already know I'm eating right and not drinking etc, and I'm taking pre-natal vitamins. I'd like to wait until next month and don't see why I shouldn't. I'm healthy and don't feel like getting poked and prodded yet.

I'm not wanting to break my water nor am I asking what I can do to break my water. I don't want to break my water and I'm letting nature take it's course!! With that being said, what really causes your water to break? Can it break with a movement the baby makes, can it break when you sneeze really hard? I'm just curious as to what actually causes it.

I was just wondering if I still live with my parents but want to move out can I still qualify for section 8 or any other programs. I am 18 and pregnant and I have to move out. My parents are kicking me out but I have no place to live. I dont even know if I should and can I apply for welfare( That is my last choice). I dont want to do that but I dont have a job. I think I am about 5 to 6 weeks pregnant now. It's my third pregancy and I'm soooo excited!! This pregnancy is quite different than the other two. I don't have much symtoms so far, but my breast are starting to hurt only on the sides by my pit. Is that something any one else has felt with there earily pregnancys? With my other two pregnancys (boys) my breast hurt all over, right away!! I guess its because its my third. I just was concerned that it was only on the side.
