There's no reason to rush in. You can wait, many dr's won't see you until at least 10 weeks anyways. Pregnancy is a very natural part of life, it's not like the baby isn't going to survive if you don't go in for blood work and a pap smear. That's all they do at the first appt. With my last pg, I waited until I was 15 wks before I went in for my first apt. My baby is a healthy 3 wk old today.

You should have a Pregnancy Test done with Blood at a Clinic/Doctor if you haven't already. Most things are inaccurate, the most accurate thing is the Blood test and at like about 2 months it reads correctly.
Isn't that sad. All those Accuracy Test are lieing *sighs*
I wouldn't suggest takeing Pre-Natal until you talk to your Doctor or do research on the Pre-Natal your takeing (some of them do only harm).
I think some women wait until 3-5 Months to have a Doctor Poke and Prod them XD But people may panic that see you putting it off that have experienced or heard of bad things.

I would call your doctor to find out what they suggest because each doctor has their own time frame of when a first visit should be. They may want you to come in now just to confirm the pregnancy (even though you had two positive home tests already). Mine scheduled me for this (second) pregnancy at 5 weeks but that's because I got pregnant using an IUD and it had to be removed right away. I think the norm is around 8 to 10 weeks though.

I have 3 pregnancy's and I never made it into the doctor the first month of my pregnancy. It's the first visit they poke you but after that it's a piece of cake. As long as you go in you first 3 months you will be fine. The most important test is Gestational Diabeties which if you had you would know. But it sounds like your on the right track.
Congrats and Good Luck!

I'd call them tomorrow, but chances are they won't even see you before you're 8-10 weeks along. But calling soon will assure that you'll be able to get in to see the doc a month from now because they get so backed up. Heck, if they'll let you, I'd suggest scheduling all your appointments as early as possible.

well the general rule is rush in right away. but allot of Drs wont even see you till 10 weeks. you can either call the Dr and see how soon they want to schedule you or tell them you want to come in after June 1st. the truth is that there isn't much they can do at thins point even if something was wrong so i don't see why you cant wait. but make sure you go in by that 10 weeks at the latest.

Go ahead and call your doctor tomorrow. Every office is different, and sometimes it can be hard to schedule an appointment. I had my first appt. at 10 weeks, but many doctors like to see you at 8. If you've just missed your first period, then you're at 4 weeks, so they'll probably schedule you to come in in a month, anyway.
Congratulations!

You need to at least get an appointment set, they sometimes can take a month to get in. They like to get an idea of your due date so the proper tests can be done at the right stages of the pregnancy. CONGRATS
