There is nothing you can do to control how much hair your baby will have. And if you get heartburn, it is NOT an indication that your baby will have a full head of hair.

How much hair a baby has a birth has to do with how much hair the mother and the father had at birth. It's genetics, not nutrition. so think back - did you have lots of hair, or your brothers and sisters? Did the father have lots of hair at birth, or the people on his side?
Nothing you eat will affect the genetic pattern.
Hope this helps.

Hey,
Sorry to say but no foods will put hair on your baby's head!
I've heard that if you have heartburn it is a sign your baby will have hair {old wives tale} I didn't have very bad heartburn but my friend did and my son came out with so much hair and hers only had about 6 strand litterally!
Sorry that you can't put hair on your baby's head!
They end up losing their hair anyway so it's not bad if they arn't born with any!
Take Care

Sorry honey, there's nothing you can eat to make your baby grow hair in utero. But, if you get really bad heartburn during your pregnancy, that's supposed to be a sign that your baby has a good head of hair.

Old people used to say hot peppers would give a baby more hair, but that's crap. The amount of hair has nothing to do with what the mom eats.

What foods you eat has nothing to do with how much hair your child will have. Heres a clue, if you have alot of heartburn during your pregnancy, chances are you will have a baby with a full head of hair.

I don't really believe it matters I think its based on traits and stuff. I'm African American so they got this myth that if you had heartburn a lot throughout your pregnancy your baby will have a lot of hair. Well I had a lot of heartburn and my son had so much hair it was ridiculous. So...

Just eat healthy. No particular food will ever help aid in a baby's hair growth, just genetics.
