And by the way, i'm not eating more. I'm actually eating less because I have morning sickness all day long and throw up at least once a day.

I would buy the maternity undies...they are comfortable and will allow all the extra room you need to grow.

I didn't gain any weight at all for the first 4 months or so, however I found that at about 11 or 12 weeks I was very uncomfortable with anything even a little bit tight on my belly. I doubt its a matter of you being so big your undies don't fit you, they are probably just not very comfortable anymore. I'm 7 months pregnant and I'm sure I could still fit into my pre-prego undies, but why would I want to? I buy the maternity panties from Old Navy, they're only about $15 for a pack of 3 and they are so comfy, not to mention they have all different cuts bikini, breifes, thongs etc... and they are soooo cute. Also La Senza has this really good brand, I'm not too sure what they are called but they are really streatchy and soft and they are soooo comfy. And for those people who say to stop eating so much... Give me a break, there is no need to be rude. You've obviously never been pregnant and uncomfortable before. Goodluck with your pregnancy!

I think everyone needs to stop giving you **** about eating, while the first comment is right about only needing 300 extra calories a day I for one don't eat much of anything my fiancee's always trying to get me to eat more so that is not neccesarilly your problem so incase you are just binge eating beyond control than ignore all the rude people on here.

I am pregnant for the second time my first I lost and this ones going good and my underwear, jeans NOTHING is comfortable anymore and we're like a week apart I suggest going to the maternity section or a maternity store and get some maternity pants and either get larger underwear or maternity undies and even though everyone says you can't find cute ones there wrong go to a maternity store they have more of a selection or order offline.

here are some good links:

good luck hun & don't sweat the small stuff your not getting fat you have a cute little baby growing inside of you!

You can buy pregnant panties, honey. They come to fit just like the pregnant jeans or pants that you can buy. You know with the little pocket of extra material in the front with much elastic around the top and the legs. Now I do know a woman who was pregnant, got very big for her size and never came out of her own panties. After I got pregnant and got so huge the doctor thought my daughter was tripletts I asked her about this and she said "I just don't put the panties where they are suppose to be, up around my belly. Instead I wear them like low-riders just under my stomache. Right above my pubic line. So it just depends on the material, the sizing and the comfort. Where do they sit most comfortable on you? If they feel tight no matter what and are uncomfortable you just need bigger ones, sweetie. Go up one size at a time until they fit the way you like.

I'm 22 weeks and I started showing at 12 weeks, even though I hadn't gained a pound yet. I say do what is comfortable. Try on that underwear, and if it is more comfortable, use it. I had to start buying maternity everything at 12 weeks, and this is my first. Everyone is different, you know?

Don't let people tell you that you're eating "too much." You know what's right for you. I've got a nice little bulge and I've struggled to gain weight. It's all baby, baby! Don't worry about it . . . do what's best for you!

Your choice: you can either get the much more expensive maternity underwear, or you can keep buying bigger and bigger granny panties until you're really starting to show. I went for the granny panties as long as possible because they were so much cheaper, and they fit again perfectly after I had the baby when my maternity underwear were once again too big, so I got lots of use out of them. Plus after you have the baby you bleed... a whole lot... and you'll ruin whatever underwear you wear. You don't want to go back into your old pretty panties right after anyway, even if they do fit again.

People are so rude! Obviously, as anyone who has ever been pregnant knows that every woman's body is different and adjusts differently to pregnancy... With that said I would say try buying a few pairs of different brands in regular underwear. Try different styles and find some that work for you. If you can't find regular ones that fit well then try some maternity ones... They have them at Motherhood Maternity that are fairly reasonably priced for maternity. Good luck!

I would definatly get some maternity/bigger underwear. It's not good for you or your baby to be restricted at this time! You both need room to grow comfortably. I bought some maternity knickers from Marks and Spencer (if you're in the uk) and they were great, plus they lasted the whole pregnancy, ok maybe a little grannified, but who cares as long as you and baby are healthy!

Everyone's body handles pregnancy differently and each pregnancy is different! Sometimes you carry lower, sometimes higher, some people carry wider hip to hip, others carry straight out from their belly's! I wouldn't worry about whether someone else was able to wear their underwear through the pregnancy, I mean your pregnant! Who cares? Do what you feel is comfortable. If you feel better with pregnancy panties, then by all means, get them! Just enjoy being pregnant and be as comfortable as you can during this miraculous time.
