26weeks + pregnant and got painful cramps thats lasted almost an hour ,felt rather sore like heavy period cramps is best 2 explain it why would that be happening?
i was also gettin pain in my lower area almost felt like it was burnin and also ran 2 the loo like every 10mins durin that hour which is not normal for me plz can a get a proper answer as 2 wat could be causin it rather than phone ur doctor etc

Hi, I'm 34 weeks pregnant. I have an 11mt old, a 3 yr old and I have gestational diabetes. The problem is that I haven't done well on the diet. To date, I've gained 2 lbs. I have no appetite at all. I've forced myself to eat about 4 out of my 6 meals and I've tested about the same. Last week my doctor was very disappointed and asked if I wanted to try the diet again.My sugar isn't high, I'm just not eating enough. I know that when I see her tomorrow, she's going to be upset, that I'm seriously doing the best that I can do. What can my doctor do to me because I know that I'm not healthy right now. Will she induce me? I feel ashamed.

I found out I was preg. so, obviously, I quit smoking right then and there, but now my dr. and everyone else it telling me that it is hard on the baby to quit cold turkey. I dont see how gradually cutting back could be any better for my baby.

Ok..my hubby and are seperated but we are talking and having dates, last night I spent the night and we had great sex...couple of times thru the night..It has been 2 weeks for us. It didn't hurt while having sex but today my tummy is tight..is this normal? I did notice the orgasm was way different than normal..( 16 weeks preggo) Can I be hurting the baby? Or is it because its been a while?

i know i can take tylenol while pregnant but i am sick cant breathe nose is cloged have bad allergies what is safe to take as u no of cause i can't use a phone to call a doc.

I'm 7 weeks preg. and I found out b/c I went to see the dr. because I have been having VERY LIGHT spotting for a week. It hasnt stopped and he says its normal and it will stop eventually. Any one experienced this??

Did anyone ever have period like cramping when they were in the early stages of being pregnant?? i heard this is common but it would just make me feel better if i hear if others had the same thing.

I am trying for my 1st. My period is supose to come tomorrow i always cramp before my period but this is differnt it comes and goes and its not in the normal spots my cramps are its more in my sides. and im not spotting like i always do the day before my period. i just have a clear discharge. I have a lower back and hip pains pains.

I am 38 weeks and 2 days. 60% effaced and 1 cm. This is my first pregnancy. I'm worried b/c I had cryosurgery that left my cervix scarred. I'm afraid that it will be very painful to deliver vaginally. My doctor said that the scar tissue is holding me from dilating like I should. The scarring could also cause lots of blood loss. He also says that I have a small pelvis. Does anyone think this will just lead to a scheduled c-section?

My contractions are 2-3 mins apart and they even showed up on the monitor as being just that. They still sent me home and I don't understand why. For some reason my cervix won't dilate anymore and they told me that when the contractions become unbarrable to come back. My contractions hurt like crazy and they are very regular, what can I do to help my cervix dilate. This is horrible to feel like this, I didn't have this problem with my first daughter. Any help? This just happened last night.


Today the contractions are still 2-3 mins apart and when I went to the bathroom there was a jelly like substance that was bloody when I wiped. I went back to the dr and they didn't even check me. What do I do? How do I get them to admit me? I'm so exausted and I feel like there is no help. I don't want to end up delivering this baby at home. I can't help it I 'm pain tollerant and that the pain hasn't been unbearable. I'm going crazy.

I just had a miscarriage a few days ago, I didn't even know I was pregnant yet. I'm engaged and planning a wedding, no we're not as careful as we should be but if I get pregnant now or later, we're happy. Anyways, this is the problem. Girls, I love my fiancee but he likes his marijuana. He's not addicted to it but 3-4 times a month he smokes it and hides it from me until I confront him about it. My doctor said that because we're not trying, if I happen to get pregnant, this could be a problem. It could cause a miscarriage if he has the marijuana in his system when I conceive or the baby could have problems. What do you girls think about all of this?? How would you handle the situation to get him to understand that it's irresponsible and can cause damage to a child?? Or am I making a bigger deal out of it than it's worth?

Now that my husband is getting used to the idea of having a fourth child, i'm afraid something may be wrong. Although each one of my pregnancies was different, the common denominator in all of them was that i felt changes in my body. Some were much stronger than others but i did feel something. I have absolutly NO symptoms with this pregnancy. My missed period is the only symptom. There has been no change in my energy level, no breast tenderness, no nausea, nothing. I feel totally "normal" which is a little scary. Has anyone else felt like this at 8 almost 9 weeks? A friend of mine suggested that because i have a nine month old and i'm breatfeeding, my hormone levels are out of wack and may not be high enough to sustain a pregnancy. I have a doc's appointment on monday ... just wondering if anyone else has ever had this happen?

My issue;

I had sex on May. 12th, and my period began on the 7th and lasted till the 10th. I am on the pill (since Nov. ’06) HOWEVER on the 12th I was still on my “REMINDER PILL” I didn’t start my new pill pack, till the following day, Sunday…on this day, I took my pill as normal.

My question is…can I be pregnant, if I had sex on the lasy day of my 4th week, ( I didn’t take my reminder pill that night as well) will I still be protected?…….My stomach looks bloated too……I you can tell I’m very paranoid….

Has anyone ever gotten pregnant and then bled for a little bit during the time in which you were supposed to have your period but yet no material came out (usualy the endometirum is shed at this time) and the blood was a funny color...instead of being a crmson red it was light red almost an orangy color? I bled for two days only. Has anyone had that???

i work in a dental office, for each new patient we have to take 18 x rays. the only thing to protect me is a lead apron which only covers the front of my body. what do u think, should i or not take x rays? thanks =)

I had an ultrasound this past tuesday due to a fall that I had. My OB wanted to make sure everything was ok. I feel like I am farther than my OB thinks, but I was unable to get a measurement during the ultrasound. It was a quick 5 min thing to make sure the heart was still beating. Well, it was beating at 180. Is this normal for 11 weeks? What is the average heartbeat for a baby at this stage?

i dont know why but i hate needles and every 1 like it fine it dont hurt but i am freking out i dont want to get it done!!!!

AND i just found out that my friend went to the gyno and they found a little dark spot and think it could be cancer so the cut it off and stitched it up but i have a little dark spot too what else could it b????
