yes, it is normal to spot during you first and last trimester and if you have complications like placenta previa, you can spot all the way through. And some women continue to have a "period" throughout their pregnancy. My sister in law had a "period" for 5 months. My question is, do you not feel comfortable with this doctor. I mean, he/she is vastly more educated than we are on here, unless there is a doctor answering questions. You doctor is the one that does the exams on you, so he/she will know your whole situation, you should have faith and trust your doctor, if you don't, then you need to switch now, before you get further along. Good luck

It is very normal to experience light bleeding betwen 7 and 11 weeks . This is when placental formation is taking place . the placenta is in essence an accessory liver , filtering blood between you and baby . When the placenta forms it actually creates a new network of blood vessles . As these little villi burrough into the uterine wall ( which has extra blood at this point) , it's normal for a little bleeding to occur .
if you are overly concerned , you can always take a trip to the ER . ER physicians would more than likely order and ultrasound to assess the situation, where and OBGYN may be more conservative regarding your personal bleeding situation as a personal doc knows your history. ER docs work in the immediate here and now.
Good luck !

As long as the formula isn't agitating her, making her fussy, or keeping her up, then it's fine. Sometimes it takes a few tries to find out which formula a baby will like best. It sounds like the enfamil is working better for her. And it's normal for a newborn to eat that often - my baby is two months old also, and he eats like crazy, but he's only 8 lbs!

Every woman is different, I have heard of many women doing that. I myself didnt do that but I did have spotting for about a day after each time my husband and I had intercourse for the first few months. And my doc. said that was normal also.

yup, with every pregnancy i've had. It actually has been heavier with each pregnancy, but it has never been anything to cause a problem. The blood vessels in the cervex are under alot of strain and can leak easily.

No i havn't personally experienced it but i know someone who has and i would go to another doctor. You can never be sure and you dont want to risk anything especially for your baby. Your best bet is to go get someone elses advice, another doctor. You can never have too much advice when you are pregnant! Good luck and hope all is well :)

I personally haven't ever had spotting when pregnant, but I have read in HUNDREDS of different places that it is quite normal for it to happen.
And if your doctor says you are fine, my guess is you are fine. :) Congrats on the baby!
