Im 35 weeks pregnant, on May 9th i was told i was 30% effaced, and the babys head can be felt, however my cervix is still high and its anterior or something like that. What does all this mean? will i have the baby soon? I believe the baby dropped about 2 weeks ago. But the head can be felt when my OB did an internal exam Thanks!!

I took this equate E.P.T 6 days b4 my period and it came up negative so i waited a week after the fact on saturday night and took one of the expensive E.P.T thats cost about $16.00 and it showed a very faint but their positve line, i took another one sunday morning mothers day and the line was still faint but a little darker than the day b4..so i waited till this morning and took the other equate test and it still came up negative..i have quite a few pregnancy symptoms i cant understand why only those expensive test came up positive..has anybody else had this happen to them. if so what did you do?? Thanks

I am 23 and I am having my first baby with my husband. When we went to our childbirth classes everyone else was in their 30's and I felt so young! They were all having their first babies as well, so I felt out of place. I am just curious to see what ages you are/were with your first babies.

I sometimes watch the program "a baby story" on TLC, i have never seen someone refuse an epidural. I live in the eastern Caribbean and most hospitals here don't have such luxury. I gave birth to my son with no pain reliever, i'm curious to know if there are any American women out there who refused it? It seems to me that Americans have a very low tolerance for pain (i may be wrong)

ok i know loads of people ask these questions and usually people don't know and say take tests but i could do with the help....

im 2 weeks late...i know its not much but in the past month i've had sex a few times with my bf unprotected. i took a test on tuesday and it came out negativ but i still haven't come on so im worried i mite be pregnant and that it mite be wrong!!! i don't know whether to take another test...and if im not pregnant what else could it be?? please help....

I'm only two months but I feel huge! I've only gained 2 pounds and my stomach is just a little poofed-out but I can't get over the feeling of being huge. I feel like a balloon is being blown up in my stomach. Has anyone else had this experience and will it be like this the whole time? Thanks.

Some people I have spoken to beleive that you shouldn't wear your seatbelt when pregnant, and other beleive that you should. If people have not worn a seatbelt when pregnant, why did u choose not to, and if you have, why did you. I' m a firm beleiver that you should buckle up when pregnant, but I'm curious to hear both sides of the story

I heard it does not digest the vitamins.. but I have a hard time taking any vitamins with water, I guess it is the bad after taste that gets to me.

I'm so miserable, I'm about to cry. I'm HUGE. I've gained 30 lbs, and it's ALL in my belly. I can't breathe. I can barely eat. I can't poo. I feel like I'm going to throw up when she moves.

I'm dilated to a 1, and haven't had ANY effacement at all. I've tried having sex. I've tried walking. I've tried nipple stimulation. I refuse to do castor oil (or anything to make the nausea worse).

Someone, PLEASE help me out here! I'm in HELL!
