Is 9 weeks the beginning of the 3rd month?

4 weeks in a month, 3 monthsx4=12. So I say no,12 weeks would make you 3 months.
At 9 weeks you are 2 months and 1 week, so at 10 weeks you could consider yourself 2 1/2 months along.
But when you're talking to others who've been pregnant, I always found it easier to tell them the # of weeks when they asked. That way there isn't any confusion. Let them do their own calculating if they feel the need too.

Yes. There are 4 weeks in a month, so 9 weeks is the beginning of the third month.

Congratulations. I had my son 8 months ago. Yeah every 3 weeks is a new month and in all reality a woman is Actually pregnant 10 months. When I was pregnant I received so many magazines on it and it helped that my mother in law is a nurse. . Baby's are so exciting and fun. Best of wishes
