I haven't had any children but my sister had her first son at the age of 23, second son at 25 and third son at 27. Her first son was a "surprise" but a welcomed one. She is now married to the father and has a BEAUTIFUL family.
I think 23 is a perfect age to have a child. Don't worry about being the youngest in the class. Just think, you will bounce back faster, have more energy while the child is growing, be young enough to really interact with your children, and be young enough to be that fun grandmother when your child has their own.
Congrats on your baby on the way!!

I had my daughter almost 4 years ago now at the age of 20. Beyond being the youngest person in the childbirth class, I also didn't have my husband (now ex-husband) with me because he was serving in Iraq and had my mom, which I figured made them all wonder about me. However, I quickly go over it and just focused on why I was there in the first place, so I wouldn't worry about it to much because you are all essentially there for the same thing and I am sure none of them are really too concerned with your age and there are many, many, many young mothers out there so you aren't a minority. Good luck and congrats!!! :)

I was married at 18 and had our first when I was 20. The next 2 came when I was 23 and 26. I was on birth control pills for 11 years when we found out I was pregnant! Surprise! My youngest was born when I was 38. My children are now 27, 25, 22, and 9. My oldest daughter and son-in-law just had their first baby, she is 27 and he is 29. My husband and I will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary on June 25 this year.

Well I am 20 and expecting my first. My sisters-in-law were both 23 when the had their firsts and then my sisters were 24 and 22 so they were all round your age. My mum had hers at 20, 23, 26, 29, 32 and 35.
I think you are around a very good age as you are old enough to support them but young enough not to be warn down! Congrats and good luck!
