You know I heard a commercial the other day for IVF and they were saying that a normal healthy woman only has a 28% chance of getting pregnant each cycle. There point was IVF gives you a 33% chance. Not to say that you need IVF, it just was surprising with how many people try and don't succeed at getting pregnant. So I can understand not wanting to get your hopes up. I would say though keep having fun with your mate and don't stress too much. You could be pregnant now or you may get pregnant later. But the reality is you will get pregnant if and when it is the right time for you. It is human nature to want what we don't have. It does sound like there is a good chance that you are pregnant, but the best way to check if you don't get pregnant in the next couple of months is to start really tracking your cycle. Take your temperature when you first wake up, check your cervical fluids and chart them, and feel the placement of your cervix. Get the book "Taking charge of your fertility" This is a great resource for charting yourself, whether you are trying to get pregnant or trying not to. I followed this book for a year. This book gives you a better understanding of the things that are going on in your body. Every woman should have this as required reading.

I felt like I was going to start with my last pregnancy. I had period cramps and even some light pink spotting.
Then my period just NEVER came. Yes I know it's hard to have hopes crushed, but you should take a First Response Early Result test because it should tell you at this point whether you are or not! What day do you ovulate? That would help....If you're a 28 day cycle, then you should have a positive result by now.

I had period-like cramps with my first pregnancy. I went ahead and took a test because I was "late", but I was sure it would be negative because I thought my period was coming. I was very surprised to see a positive test. Try not to be afraid to take that test once your period is late. It will be better to know than to get your hopes up more. It's the only way to know for sure.

this is a common early pregnancy symptom. Wait until you are a few days late and test. Good luck

If you don't want to take the test, I suppose that means you'll just have to wait to find out to see if you get your period...
I didn't have any cramping when I got pregnant.
But everyone is different...

Its possible you are pregnant. But watch out because women trying to become pregnant will make their body feel like they are - if they are really trying hard to become pregnant. I had the same feelings you are having with my second child. Good Luck.

I think you will see your period soon to be completely honest. but I'm no expert.
The best way to tell is see the doctor. And never give up trying!
