Sperm contains prostaglandins which help the cervix "ripen" or in other words assist it in dilating. That is why sex is a good method to induce labor for some people.

They meant to have sex and have your husband ejacualte inside of you. Apparently sperm has a chemical, for lack of a better word, that makes it easier for you to dialate.

sex helps you dilate and sperm will start contractions. Walking allot helps dilate too

i think that meens to have intercourse... LOL....
im not sure my self... but they say intercourse will speed it up.. and also help you with labour... because the sperm lubriactes the birth canal... ( or something like that).. im not really sure..
