when it hurts. otherwise, you're pregnant and horny. have sex whenever you want. no, the only part you shouldn't have sex during is only when it's not comfortable or when it's painful.......that's it. sex does not hurt the baby either!!! AT NO TIME

While every case is different, most doctors council against sex in the last month of pregnancy (i.e., the 8th month). There are two reasons...it could bring on early labor AND the cervix may be open, which could increase the chance of an uterine infection. Still it is best to ask the doctor what is appropriate for your situation.

Anytime in a low risk pregnancy up until your water breaks. Sex in the 9th month can actually cause you to go into labor too. As long as you are comfortable and feel up to go ahead and have fun!

You can have sex through out your pregnancy as long as you are not a "high-risk" pregnancy, and your Dr. says it is ok. With my first I did til the day I delivered.

Unless you are laboring or spotting, sex is generally safe during your entire pregnancy.

Only if your Dr advises against it. Most are having sex up until the end to help get labor going!

They say no, but if you have a high risk pregnancy, you should avoid it because it may induce a miscarriage (rare, but it's not a chance to take). We had to stop after the baby dropped, for obvious reasons...

When your doctor tells you it is unsafe. Otherwise you can have sex right up until the date of delivery. Actually, the prostiglandins in sperm, help get labor started.
