Pregnancy - March 2007

I really want to know what's going on. My period is usually late. I was supposed to get it on Friday the 16th of this month (a few days ago) and I made love with my husband on Saturday with the intentions of getting pregnant. I still haven't gotten my period. Is there a posibility of pregnancy??? How long does it take to get pregnant after sex???

I am 19 weeks pregnant and teach kindergarten....today one of my kids came to school and it wasn't until the end of the day that his mom called to tell me he was in the hospital yesterday and has shingles. i know from my blood work before we got pregnant that i am immune to chicken pox (never had them, never will) but are shingles different? called my doctor but he is on vacation and the attending nurse has not called back. wondering what to do...or at least would like a little peace of mind. thanks!

associate. I am 12 weeks pregnant and will be 13 weeks when I start. I didnt tell anyone that I was pregnant because I really need to get the job. Does anyone have any advice on how I can buy clothes that dont show I am pregnant for atleast a month or so. I have to dress up for the job so any help would be appreciated. Also, when I decide to tell everyone I am pregnant-I will be17 weeks so I am hoping that I wont get fired. thanks

What should I tell my friend if they have gotten pregnant 2 times in a row but always had a miscarrige and she won't listen to me that she is hurting herself. She is only 16 and she says its just bad luck I have tried to tell her parents and she always drags me away and my parents don't listen to me about anything and I am really consurned because she is going to get pregnant again I just know it because she is always having sex. So does anybody have any advice on what to say or do????? PLEASE HELP!!!!

I am 18 and he's 20! I have been in this relationship with him for a year and two months. And already i am pregnant. He wasnt to happy about it when i told him but he said we will figure something out and work through this! He has been taking me to every appointment since and still picks me up from work everyday (Not to add paying the cell phone bill and the rest of my bills)! Now I am 5 months pregnant and he is treating me like crap! He disappears for hours... he wont call or even check to see if i'm okay! He goes out every night and its driving me nuts! I dont know if i'm paranoid or what but he is def. not as romantic as he used to be! I dont know what to do or where to go. I am so in love with him and I did want us to be a happy family! Is it still possible?

I've engaged in dry sex with little or no fluid with clothes on 3 days before my [3-day, short] period. Then after that, the next day, there were light pink blood-I don't know if that's implantation-.I have been having cramps whis whole time, I feel like vomitting, my breasts have been tender the whole time too and I think my stomach is getting bigger and I feel I saw 2 doctors (1 of which I saw 3 times, telling me she doesn't think so and that's it's just guilt) , and a clinician twice who found me kind of irritating saying I couln't have! My concern is, why am I having these symptoms and I really don't wanna get pregnant yet. I mean I cannot fuly penetrate if there's clothes on... Please, any suggestions or contributions from experienced?

I took the blood test a week after thursday which was when the pinkish blood came out. Is it too early? I took a lot of urine test too. All negative so far. Really scared.

i just found out that i am pregnant a week ago. i havent told my significant other. we are both adults but i feel so scared telling him. i have been having a little nausea for the past few days and i told him that i had a stomach ache but he didnt question further. every time i get the nerve to tell him i back down. i think he suspects somethings wrong with me but i cant come out and atell him. i suspect i had conceived the night the condom broke but he didnt release inside me. im so scared and yes you can get preg. from pre-***. how should i approach this

How many have had their baby on their due dates? Also I left the doctor a while ago and my cervix isnt open or dialated, effaced, NOTHING my baby is head down. They said if she doesnt come by Friday theywould do NST?hook me up to the monitors I guess) and then what next ? I'm miserable and cant wait for my lil princess I've tried everything to speed up this process.

a week ago after a missed period, i found out i am pregnant with my second child, i'm in the very early stages (not even 5 weeks). having found out so early i'm worried about having a miscarriage, after an internal ultrasound i passed some glugy clear discharge and then i had some brownish discharge yesterday (no more since) could this have been a miscarriage? i'm still feeling slight cramps, bloated and tired in the afternoon.

ok i have noticed that my aunts (not uncles) but my aunts decide that by the time their daughters can move in with their boyfriends when they turn 16 17..i have noticed they let them cause they have been with them for more than 2 months then they let them move in but thats only if they are together for at least 2 months or more ..but how many of you parents would let ur daughter move in w/ a boyfriend at 16 or 17..btw parents dont have to answer this..im doing a poll to show that my 13 aunts r wrong for it cause my cousins can get pregant if they have sex too...
