if a pregnacy test comes up negative but has a fade line goin up and down does it mean its positive ?

i took a test 2days ago it came up negative 2day i took two more and it came up with a negative line but with a faded line goin up and down does this mean a positive or negative

It depends on the type of test. I don’t remember which one I took, but the + was not really that visible. It looked like a - with a faint line in the middle. I took two of them and asked my hubby to look at it, he said it as a +. Better buy a test that says pregnant or not pregnant, less guessing that way. Another way is to go to your OB by this time they are able to tell you


After thinking about it some more I think it's a positive. Get another test to know for sure

This is hard. It ccould be too early to tell. Are u using ur first morning urine for these test. That's the best time to test even though the box may differ but the hormone "H something" will have time to build overnight. Try this and if your test is still showing a faded line you need to go to your doctor. They may do a blood test to be accurate.

ummm..... well it depends on the test. read the instruction manual. Sometimes a faded line means pregnant other times it is just there. If it is an answer test or an ept then it is a negative. Otherwise- look it up online by manufacturer

well it depends on when you read it i would wait another few days and take another test that way if you are pregnant then your hcg will build and give you a better test result and if not then the test will be the same sometimes hormone levels are just light enough to give the faint line or ghost line so wait a few more days and try again for a better yes or no
