If I ovulated on march 4 thru 9 and on the 12 a doctor did an utrasound would he know if I was prenant? I got an utrasoung and my doctor told me a had a thin cercix?

A friend of mine recently found out that she had lost one of the twins she was carrying. Thing is, she never miscarried. It simply disappeared. I'm pregnant and wondering how often this phenomenon occurs? Could it happen to me?

Ok,no judgement please.I am feeling very low lately..since august i have been feeling very weird. I have been having bad thoughts *thoughts of hurting myself and others* i mean i WOULD NEVER do anything i think,but they dont go away and they interrupt my life. i have 2 children and im pregnant again *this happened before i got pregnant 3rd time* this all comes new to me as i never experienced this before.i am afraid of knives something terrible *never before* and i have thoughs of people breaking in my house and nightmares...i fee useless right now...How do i tell me doctor i need treatment? I've engaged in dry sex with little or no fluid with clothes on 3 days before my [3-day, short] period. Then after that, the next day, there were light pink blood-I don't know if that's implantation-.I have been having cramps whis whole time, I feel like vomitting, my breasts have been tender the whole time too and I think my stomach is getting bigger and I feel dizzy sometimes and exhausted. My stomach looks bigger!!! I saw 2 doctors (1 of which I saw 3 times, telling me she doesn't think so and that's it's just guilt) , and a clinician twice who found me kind of irritating saying I couln't have! + I wanna know: IF I'M SHOWING ALL THESE SYMPTOMS, WILL THE TEST BE ACCURATE?
The light blood did come after a week! That's what I'm worried about and I just remembered
I did take a blood test a week after.-negative- I think it's too early. So i don't know!mY BOOBS are kinda pinchy and sore

I do understand what does a''bedrest'' mean, but now i am confused with a person i know, and was advised to stop working and have a bedrest,she is a 7 mos. on the way, and over 35, and the baby size is smaller that what is supposed to be, if it says bedrest and had stop working maybe she stays in the bed in the daytime,but she goes out to dine in relatives houses or restaurant, what would be the effect on the baby?Isn't it when bedrest is strictly just in the bed, kinda worried but I'm just hesitant to ask coz she was a doctor, I would say she knows better than me.

I am 36 weeks prego I get the cramps that are killer they come and go I feel pressure from the baby pushing and definatly feel him moving around in there its been pretty hard for me to sleep at night cause I get these cramps that are unbearable no matter what position I get into or what I do and it stays like that for awhile and I always feel like I have to use the number two in the bathroom but I dont I just sit there and nothing but it feels like I have to and now when I wipe I have this clear liquidy snotty looking stuff that I wipe off its not a bladder infection the doctors check me monthly for that and I just a had a check for it they are afraid to see if im dialated because it could cause me to go into complete labor but I was wondering if maybe I should just go in to the hospital and have it checked they told me to count my contractions even if my stomach gets hard with no pains if I have 4 in an hour to call in anyone got any ideas any help

Let me start at the beginning. My ex and I had been on and off for two years and until two weeks ago we were really trying to make things work. Then, he cheated. Of course I decided that there was no coming back from that. But then tonight, I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive. I told him of course because I felt obligated and because I want to go to the doctor tomorrow to confirm the test and I don't want to go alone. He called me and said that if I am that we can make things work and he can be the man I need him to be. I don't know what to do. I'm not sure that I can trust him but I feel like i owe it to this baby to be with its father. Should I take him back?

Please don't be mean.

Hi Im 7 months pregnant, and I am really starting to get nervous about giving birth. I know I defintely want to have an epideral, so I was wondering about them. Both of my cousines had them, and I was in the room when they deivered. They were calm, in no pain, and said they were glad they got them. But Im afraid Ill get to the hospital and be too far to get one, or my blood pressure will be too high, or something like that. Or my doctor wont get there on time to order me one. Can a nurse order an epideral or does it have to be your doctor? And how soon can you get an epideral, and when is it too late?

I am 36wks 1 day pregnant and have pain right on my pubic bone - its getting more intense - especially when i'm walking - and its driving me crazy! My whole pubic area hurts!

Questions:

What is it and why is it getting more intense when i walk?
What can i do to relieve the pain?

Do you have to have severe cramping? What if they are minor and come and go? Do you have to have bleeding? When people say the cramps would be getting worse, how quickly would they get worse?
Mine have stayed the same or even lessoned. No bleeding. Do you think this could be just normal early pregnancy cramps?

and was wondering if a women eats a lot of surgery kinda fattening foods while prego will it affect her baby's weight also?

( just so u know i know its not good to eat bad foods while prego and all that and i know to much fattening foods isnt good for the baby just so u know not what im asking)

I am really not feeling well tonight. I am 36 weeks...and in constant pain. I use the bathroom literally every 15 minutes. Baby has already dropped or is dropping further. I have a lot of pain on left side, that does not go away when laying on any side, and a lot of pain like he is pressing on cervix. I am sick to my stomach, and my back hurts. It is menstrual just a little stronger of cramps.

I dont want to go into hospital, as I just went in on Saturday and nothing was going on besides 25% effaced, no dilation. My next appt. is Wednesday.

What do you think??

I'm doing a short presentation on lesbian health issues, and I'm specifically looking into lesbian pregnancy. If you are a lesbian who has had a child, have a partner that has had a child, or know someone who fits the criteria, I would love to hear from you. What was it like at the OB/GYN, did you feel discriminated against? Did you find experience discrimination when recieving invitro fertilization (if that's the method you used)? What was it like walking around being obviously pregnant while at the same time being obviously a lesbian? What did you experience while giving birth? (Besides a lot of pain, I assume). Anything else you'd like to share, I'd really love to hear your story, thank you so much. Also, if you are reading this and becoming outraged about the discussion of homosexuality etc...please don't bother leaving an angry note, I'll just report it, and it will get taken off. We've heard it all, you aren't going to change any minds here.

i printed some preg calendar off the internet that counts back from my last period and it says i am 15 wks but my gestational age is 13 wks?
so how long til i reach 40 wks?
do i count by my actual weeks or my gestational age?

and when the doc says im __wks, is he talking about my gestational age?

I'm 39 weeks and 3 days and i have been having really bad pains for about 1 hour that come and go . i think they are contractions the come and go 5-10 mins apart lasting 1 or 30 secs. They don't go away when i walk to sit . I was woundering if i was in labor. o yeah and i feels like i have to go to the bath room but every time i go nothing happens.
