I am really not feeling well tonight. I am 36 weeks...and in constant pain. I use the bathroom literally every 15 minutes. Baby has already dropped or is dropping further. I have a lot of pain on left side, that does not go away when laying on any side, and a lot of pain like he is pressing on cervix. I am sick to my stomach, and my back hurts. It is menstrual just a little stronger of cramps.
I dont want to go into hospital, as I just went in on Saturday and nothing was going on besides 25% effaced, no dilation. My next appt. is Wednesday.
What do you think??

I guess I am just so afriad that they will tell me..."just regular pregnancy stuff again". I am high risk, so they make me go in for everything. I hate going in bc I feel so dumb when it is nothing. I am not sure what to do. If I call doc, they will tell me to come in like they always do!!!
I wonder what my chances are...this could just be regular stuff. I dont know...I am ready, maybe I am jumping ahead!!!

I know what you mean. I have 2 kids. Lie on your left side, put a pillow under your tummy and a pillow in between your legs. This may help relieve some discomfort. The baby is on your uterus at this stage so you will urinate more often. My doctor let me have one Tylenol PM before bed. This is something you may want to ask your doctor. Also a warm bath. good luck

Could be something else medically and you really shouldn't feel that way during pregnancy. Do what feels right as our gut instinct is the natural mothers answer. If your gut says go and something isn't right, then go. It won't mean your crazy if you go and nothing is wrong, like gas maybe? That usually causes cramps on the left side but it could mean distress too so don't second guess yourself.
My OB told me to lay on my right side so the baby would shift and let the gas pass. If that feeling didn't pass to call him back in 20 and sure enough it did until the last time and it was time to deliver.
I always pray for healthy babies as I will do yours.

I would call the hospital and talk to the nurse in OB. Let them know how you are feeling and everything that is going on. Let them decide if you need to go in and be seen. Not everyone has contractions are really hard and horrible. Some people have just like cramps. that was how mine started, then got real bad. I would say it should be soon. That baby has really dropped and is ready to come soon. good luck and think good thoughts. let us all know.

I'd recommend going to the hospital. the same thing happened to me, although I knew my water had broke before hand, but I was 6 weeks early. butttt.. I put off going to the hospital for so long, that by the time I'd finally gotten there, I was too far dialated for them to stop. and I had to deliver.

I would go to the hospital no reason to take a chance. Who cares if it ends up to be nothing. Better to be safe than sorry

Make sure your very clear when telling the doctor how you feel. Hang in there, you'll be fine, and it will have all been worth it when your holding that beautiful little baby in your arms. God Bless.

See if you can wait it out a little longer. If the pain gets UNBEARABLE then go to that hospital again!
Good luck with your baby!!!
