It was probably too early to see on an ultrasound if you are indeed pregnant. It can take 5 days for a fertilized egg to make it to the uterus and at that time it is smaller than a grain of rice. I am not sure if the sac is developed that early either

I can't imagine the u/s would be able to detect a pregnancy that early. The baby wouldn't even likely be implanted yet, if conceived. You'd need to wait around 2 weeks from ovulation.

Also note that ovulation occurs in a 24 hour time frame, NOT over the course of several days. You ovulate once a cycle and the egg lives 12-24 hours. About 10% of the time, you may release a second egg w/in 24 hours of the first. That egg would live 12-24 hours as well, giving a potential post ovulatory fertility of up to 48 hours .

A thin cervix could indicate your cervix returning to it's "infertile" state after ovulation or the ovulation has not yet occured.

Why don't you go and buy two or three home pregnancy tests? If two or three come out positive then you go for a blood test etc.. Its probably too early, so yeah.... All you can do now is wait wait wait! I know it sucks but, goodluck

No your doctor could not tell if you were pregnant. Your body is actually preparing itself for pregnancy for two weeks before the actual baby starts to grow. I know this is crazy, but this is exactly what my obstetrician told my husband and I.

It'd be too early to tell. 7-10 days post ovulation is when implantation happens, and when HCG begins to kick it in high gear. You'd have to wait til after you miss your period to be sure. Hope this helps!

It is way too early to detect pregnancy by ultrasound. Take a home pregnancy test.
