Oh god yes! I was really queasy(esp. w/ my first pregnancy) a lot of the time and when I wasn't I really didn't think about food much. It's totally normal. But it is important to eat healthy foods when you do feel hungry...even if it's only a small amount. Also, make sure you eat w/ your prenatal vitamin as that may make you sick to your stomach.

btw, Congratulations!!!

I had no appetite at all. I just never felt hungry. I just ate because I knew I had to. I guess the baby was pushing my stomach in making it so I didnt feel hungry or something. As for pickiness, I got less picky with my food. I wouldnt eat onions or radishes or anything else that I didnt like but that was just because i've never liked those things. I'm not a big breakfast eater-I don't eat breakfast in the morning because the thought of eating as soon as I wake up makes me queasy. But my father-in-law would make me breakfast every time I went down there when I was pregnant and I ate every bite of it no problem at all. A couple days after having my kid I went back to no breakfast because the queasiness came back. I still feed my daughter breakfast (I dont want anyone thinking that I dont)-I just don't eat it myself because I cant.

With my daughter, I threw up almost everything, and the smell of meat cooking, coffee, onions, and a bunch of other stuff made me sick as well. The only thing I really liked for about three months was vanilla milkshakes. With my son, I threw up less, but I also ate less and was nauseated more. When that finally passed, I ate almost everything.

When I was in early pregnancy, the smell of bread in the toaster made my stomach churn. There were also a lot of foods that I love that I could not eat, or even look at. Pizza was one of them. The smell of pickles too. It will pass, good luck!!

It's hard to have much appetite at all when everything you eat comes right back up. And nothing seems very appetizing when you feel queazy all the time. I had to force myself to eat for a while.

I had very little appetite, I didn't want alot of foods I'd normally like (anything hot, homecooking). I pretty much just wanted cold cereal w/ milk, ice cream, and unsweet ice tea (usually like sweet)

I've already had my daughter.. butttt.. I will tell you, my entire pregnancy, I was really picky, and barely ate. especially proteins. they discusted me. it's normal, just make sure you take your prenatal vitamins, and calcium. also, taking iron is really good. and vitamin C helps your body absorb the Iron better.

oh yes! I called them the "anti-cravings" lol I was convinced that pregnant women don't go off on crazy craving rampages...it's just that every other food they can think of makes them want to vomit so it HAS to be one specific thing...like bacon lol
