Pregnancy - March 2007

I am 31 weeks today. I am wondering how you ladies felt at this time? Were you getting things ready already? The babies hospital bag, your bag? Does it seem like it takes forever for the baby to come? I feel pretty good and the babies room is ready. I am just wondering what is to come. Thanks ladies!

The first day of my last period was Feb. 24. My husband and I had sex on March 10 (day 14). A few days later, I started to get a metallic taste in my mouth. I took a hpt today (9 dpo) and it was negative Can I trust this hpt? Could I still be pregnant? When should I test again for results I can trust?

I can't go to the doctor right now so please don't suggest that.

I'm 36wks 1 day pregnant with my first and getting more and more irritable by the day - especially with my fiance. Even when he is just talking these days it can really really annoy me and i just want to tell him to shut up... or failing that hit him on the head with a baseball bat! (LOL! I wouldn't... well i don't think i would...).

I bite my tongue alot - its not like he DOES anything to deserve me being so b*tchy... i mean what am i irritated at? His mere presence alot of the time... and thats obviously not HIS fault but its getting harder and harder to stop my irrational self.

He's a wonderful guy and really does not deserve such treatment and yet sometimes i just can't stop myself. He says he understands but i hate being like that with him.

Shouldn't my hormones have calmed down a bit as i approach the end of pregnancy?

Suggestions?

ok, how much does a parental care, labor, and delievery cost for a baby? and, how much does it cost for hospitalization for 3 days? and How much does it cost for a baby to have 5-8 doctor visits each year?? PLease help me, it's extra credit for my flour baby project??!!

Okay so i take my pregnancy test twice and it says im not pregnant but yet again im up to my due date for my period and i dont have it its been three days, what can it be? if i didnt faill my test is twice, and it was 99% accurte could there be a chance that i am?

I quit taking my birth control in October and i got my preiod in November but i havent received it since... i thought i may have been pregnant but i have taken some pregnancy tests and they were neg. ...and with it being this long i would have a baby bump by now.........so what's going on? .... Please someone offer me some advice or a miracle cure. I'm about 21 weeks pregnant and my pregnancy acne is getting worse, not better. I don't know what to do anymore. I don't want to use a product that will harm the baby but the pimples are now starting to hurt me -- they feel like cold sores all over my chin. I've tried products with sylicalic acid but that's not helping anymore. Do you guys think Proactive (benzoyle peroxide) is ok to use?

On the third week of my pills, I missed my pill on Tuesday. Then I took two on Wednesday at the same time. And on Thursday, I got some spotting, just not as heavy as my usual period. Its now been seven days and I am still spotting.
I should have started my sugar pills last night but went directly onto a new pack. Should I stop with the new pack and go back and take my sugar pills?? Is it possible that I might be pregnant??

i just found out i was pregnant. i went the dr to have it confirmed. i have a nineteen year old so who is in his first year of college on a basketball scholarship. we have no insurance. my husband income is to much to get any kind of help, they don't consider all your bills you have to pay, not even the rest of our sons tuition. we are suprised after nineteen years for this to happen, but ver, very, happy. can anyone give me some options. thanks

could this possible be high blood pressure or low bp i am gettin really bad headaches which av had for 2weeks i think also when i do a poo i get alot of blood now its all concerning me because i have b negative blood also and asthma and epilepsy but would a headache such as that be a symptoms of preclamsia(sorry dont know how 2 spell) i have no swellin other than my bump gettin bigger and sometimes sore(umcomfortable) not sure if its the baby movin about or gas but its really uncomfortable what can i do about it and i get breathless easy
i am going 2 make an emergency apt with my dr 2 see about it

I have been getting cramps the last few days but nothing consistent. Today I have been having more, and they are more frequent and a little stronger.

I'm not sure if I ever had Braxton Hicks, so I don't know how to compare it to that. And they don't feel severe enough to be real labor. The cramps last a few seconds to a minute and are not regular, but are becoming more frequent.

Is this something to look into, or just wait it out?

I feel like a pitt viper waiting to devour it's young... when does the motherly instinct kick in? Is this NORMAL? I kinda feel bad, but not really... what is this about?

Is it possible for my pregnancy tests to come out negative, but actually be pregnant?
I take my birth control pills, but I have been having some crazy symptoms. I take a preg. test and the results are negative.
So is it possible to be pregnant, but the pills give off negative results. No morning sickness- if you were curious.

I went to the hospital yesterday b/c I was having some cramping and no fetal movement for an hour. They hooked me up to the monitor and recorded her heart rate and my contractions for an hour. I was having contractions every 3-4 minutes. I could tell i was having them, but they weren't painful. I was only 2cm dilated so the sent me home and told me to come back when they got painful and stronger or my water broke. Now they seemed to have gone away, or they come only once or twice an hour. Could these have just been braxton hicks, and if so, why were they so regular and close together and how can they just stop or lessen then?? The nurse was sure I'd be back later last night or this morning and I'd progress into full term labor. I'm 38 weeks. Has anyone had this happen to them before?

I have been diagnosed with placenta previa. I am 24 weeks preg.
I have been having period like bleeding all day today, sometimes heavy, sometimes light-- I went to emerg this morning and they said bed rest but to go back to emerg if I bleed more- which I have.
We live about an hour from the hospital- so I am unsure if I need to go back in to the hospital if they can't do anything... should I just go to emerg just in case? OR wait a bit?
