Everyone tells me that just to much of an age gap and they won't be close as siblings. Any tips or suggestions?

This is not my first pregnancy, but I am now currently 5 weeks pregnant and so cold. I almost feel as though I have a fever, however, there is no fever.

When couples meet, they are into each other. But once the baby comes along, men are just secondary, like robots to fund the material needs of the kid and mother. It's as if she says, "I've got him by the balls for the next 18 years (through marriage or child support) so I can ignore him."

i got my period today... but my stepmom is send me birthcontrol pills and ill have them here by thrusday ..

can i start taking them on thursday and it will still work??

what do they feel like? is it kinda like you feeling a heart beat in your stomach? cause i can always feel something that feels like a heart beat and lasts for 5 minutes or so, and then they come back, i usually get them 2 times a day? they feel like a kick, and it stops for 1 seccond, then it feels like another kick, and its like 1 seccond stops, is that hiccups? and are babys hiccups supposed to be that fast? lol im 31 weeks. if someone could help me i would greatly appeciate it.

When did you feel your baby having hiccups. I can feel them at 20 weeks. It's adorable. My hubby even knows the difference between that and kicks now.

I've heard that heartburn during pregnancy means that your baby will have a head full of hair. Can anyone verify this with personal experience. I am 27 weeks pregnant and am experience VERY bad heartburn (never had before) and am wondering if there is truth to this old tale (I've only ever had bald babies before)

i called my ob gyn to see what i can take for my cold and she said i could take plain sudafed when i went to the pharmacy i took a card to the front and asked them since they kept it behind the counter if this was the plain sudafed that was safe for pregnant women.... she said no that the sudafed that they sell on the shelf was but the only kind i could find was sudafed pe. which does not contain pseudeophedrine. all the other sudafeds did contain that ingrediant. after taking one pill i heard someone say that you shouldn't take the sudafed pe just plain sudafed so what is the difference and why didn't they have a box that just said sudafed. NOw i am freaking out will this hurt my baby after one pill

im kinda disappointed that she is. i warned her so many times to use protection, but she just wouldnt. so she doesnt know exactly how many months she is, roughly about 2-3? anyways, i just want everything to work out for her.she isnt geting an abortion or anything and im really happy about that. but she isnt gonna tell her mom. shes gonna go live with a friend and her bf for a while.
i pray everynight for everything to turn out good for her. but im not sure how things can with being pregnant at this age. this is the biggest mistake she has ever made. i dont even know if she will be handle to this big reasponsiblity. im going to help her out as much as i can, but what about food? clothes? the doctor??. she cant do this without any adults, but she ISNT going to tell anyone, and nothing will change her mind. and im not going to if thats not what she wants. she would end up getting in trouble by her mom, and her mom would try and take the baby from her, and then leave my friend. advice???

I am 32 weeks now and I feel like Im small for 32 weeks, although I am a small girl. I have been gaining the amount of weight im supposed to be gaining so far but I still look small. Does this mean I will have a small baby? Could it mean my fluids are low? And if so wether it be the fluids or the baby how can I tell without getting another sonogram done? I have my next docor's appointment in two days but just wanted to get opinions from other moms. Thanks!

i'm 38 weeks pregnant, my midwife felt my bump today and said the baby was right down, a lot more than 4 days ago..i had a couple of tightening feelings yesterday and i've had constant lower back pain all day for the first time in my pregnancy..i'm going through a break-up too and i'm really upset do you think this has set me off...could i be in slow/early stages of labour midwife says i could be just wondering if any of you had these feeling before the major stuff started and how long ?

My girlfriend is either 14 or 22 weeks pregnant. Regardless of a nurse @ PP (Planned Pregnancy) telling her she was not pregnant, as well as 10+ negative tests, she continues to worry herself. Which I understand, being pregnant @ such a young age (15) is an absolutely horrible thing to contemplate. Time & time again she brings up the possibility that she may be pregnant, granted the nurse & the tests stating otherwise, & time & time again I do my research, bringing about points that disprove the possibility that she's pregnant. Now, onto the question: Where can the uterus be felt @ 14 & 22 weeks, & what does it feel like? She is uncertain of what to feel for, & she is concerned that a region to the top-right of her pubis is her uterus. What she is feeling is what I believe to her either her obliques or the lingual ligament, which starts @ the pubic tubercule (the top border of the pubis). Can anyone help me out w/ this? I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Hi, I am taking ortho-tricyclin low bc pills and have been taking them for almost a year now with no problems. I have one more week of active pills left to take though and I am suddenly starting to spot and have cramps like my period is coming on early. About a week ago I had a couple drinks and didn't take my pill until about 6 hours after my normal time and on top of that I ended up throwing up because of the alcohol (and possibly throwing up the pill). I am just really worried that maybe I am pregnant...my husband and I have a 14 month old and aren't ready for another one just yet! I also heard that women can get pregnant during their period week...has that happened to anyone here? Just curious because my period doesn't start until a few days after it is supposed to start so my husband and I are still having sex until it starts. Anyway, I'd appreciate any comments! Thanks

My friend (married thank god!) just got pregnant. They used the pull out method and she was on the pill. They are happy but not really in a great financial situation. Anyway, I was just curious if there was anyone out there that had this happen to them. Either on the pill or not.. just wondering about the pull out thing because I have heard mixed reviews on this method.

The cycle that I did have was late, so I thought I was pregnant before it came but when it did it was very light and only lasted 2 days . Since my guy and I were doing it a whole lot I can only assume I am pregnant. Am I right?

if I had two girls both at 37 weeks. would my chances of my boy being born at about 37 weeks also? I am due Jan 27th my hubby works security, and will be at the sundance film festival between the 18th-28th. I am hoping I will have my baby around the tenth so he can be here to help me with my girls. I am sure he will come to watch the delivery no matter what, but extra help would be nice. I know every pregnancy is different. but do my chances look good? or is this just wishfull thinking....

I am currently 32 weeks pregnant and I have been getting braxton hicks contractions since about 25 weeks or maybe even sooner (not sure) but does these early contractions mean I could possibly have a greater chance of going into preterm labor or anytime before 40 weeks rather than going past 40 weeks?

Not knowing I drank a soy protein drink my husband just bought, after the second sip I realized it was bad so I spit it out? I'm 6 weeks preganant and wondering if the bad milk will harm the baby? Did swallow, but ran to the bathroom and tried to puck up the drink!
