Pregnancy - December 2006

and I sometimes get these feelings in my stomach as if I am being shocked or something. Does anyone know what that means or why it happens?

its been 15 days now and i am having postpartum bleeding...thick and still reddish.

anyone out there with cervical cerclage (what i'd be getting in future pregs) experience?

was it easy to conceive after your loss?

was cervical cerclage okay for you....your experience in that matter...


pls i need some good and supporting advice from all you people out there...

I'm 5 months pregnant, and my ex flip flops whether he wants to be involved or not. At first he wanted me to get an abortion because having a kid would ruin his chances of ever being with a friend of mine. (Classy guy, huh?) Then when I told him I was keeping it, he yelled at me then hung up on me. Now, he won't answer my questions about his family medical history, or even things as lame as if he got the christmas gift I sent him. His parents want to be involved and have been nice to me, but I don't feel comfortable about my baby being without me at their house or in his care. He drinks almost every night, smokes pot like they are cigarettes and has (I'm not kidding) 4+ poisonous snakes stored at his house. I wish I could afford to support the baby on my own, but unfortunately, california is the most expensive state to live in. While I am working on getting out of here, how should I go about getting child support for the baby, while not letting him be alone with it?

i had a baby almost three months ago and i think i pregant again i am having morning sickness and all the sypthoms i had wit my last baby, I havn't told my boyfriend yet cause i'm scared i havn't told my momma yet cause im scared i don't know what to do i can't take care of two babys own my own, my boyfriend is really supportive wit my daughter but two babys were both only 16 what should i do {please no rude comments please!!!!!}

I just found out that I am pregnant. My boyfriend of quite some time now is very excited about it. I know your thinking of my age right about now and yes, that's what scares me the most! My boyfriend & I are getting married soon so It's not losing him that I'm worrying about. We've talked about kids and a life together and It's something that I want more than anything, only I'm worried we're not ready financially! Which quite frankly we aren't and I keep telling him that but he assures me that we can make it "through the storm". Part of me belives this but the other part is just scattered right now! There's no doubt in my mind that I'm not going to keep this baby. Abortion is just out of the question. And adoption, I'd regret in my future. I guess what I'm trying to ask is if there's any other young mothers or any others who have gone through this little "scared" phaze I'm having!! I just need to be set at ease...

i had sex unprotected on the 11th of december, yesterday the 30th of december i started my period. I felt light cramping at around 2pm and went to the bathroom and there wasnt really ne thing there but a lot of mucus.... at around 5:30pm i wnt back to bathroom and there was light bleeding not to heavy and light pink.... all throught the night til the next day i didnt have to wear a pad b/c it was so light but when i woke up in the morning i had a small spot of blood..... it was heavier but not really heavy.it was red though.then while at work i wore a tampon for 3 hours and when i went to the bathroom i only had a stain really small that the tampon couldnt hold... with really bad cramps like nver b4.... at 10:25pm i have be wher'n a pad 4, 4 hrs that had spots of dry blood on it not alot..when i wipe theres much more blood but after a couple of wipe it gets light. the purpose of my askin becuase. this is not normal!!! My period comes way harder, with less tense cramps, can i be pg??

i had sex last dec. 30 and that was also my 6th day of my menstruation. we didn't use any contraceptives, he just withdrew "it" before it pops out.. could i be possibly pregnant soon? your opinions are deeply appreciated. tnx

We have been trying to get pregnant for a couple of months now. For the past week or 2, I have just had a funny feeling, but trying not to think to much into it (I have done that, and that does nothing but lead to disappointment). But, today, i was in the store and my legs just started to cramp, they almost felt like i was standing on them all day (but it was only a short time). No matter what i did it wouldn't go away until i sat down for a while. Then i got a bloody nose a couple hours later out of nowhere. Just out of curiousity i just started checking this out on the internet, and it said that it might be a sign of pregnancy. Has anybody else heard of this, or am i thinking too much into it??

I am 25 weeks pregnant right now, and I can always feel an arm/leg/head/butt through my belly... I was only 120 pre-preggo weight so I don't know if that factors in there... I have been gaining like normal with normal ultrasounds, but I can only carry in one half my uterus...

I am wondering if feeling these limbs like this, this early is normal? Other than carrying in half the uterus, everything is great, and the uterus is stretching fine too. I have an OB appt Friday, I'll be asking the DR then. Thanks for any input!

I am 27 weeks pregnant and i always get these pains on my right side down below my wasteline. I know of round ligament pains, but i have had this pain for about a week straight now. It wont go away! I always had pains in this spot that would usually go away for an hour but this time it won't go away. it makes it hard to sleep, lay down, sit, walk, doing pretty much anything.. Should i be worried about these pains or no? and if its not round ligament pains, what could they be?

i'm beginning to wonder if i'm in labor (lost of back pain), but the baby is moving all over. my mom said when she was in labor, shes prety sure she didnt notice much movement, but might just not have been paying attentin bc of the pains. do babys slow down their movement during labor? or move more? maybe stay like always??? lol

i'm 5 days overdue as of midnight, and i've been having really sharp pains in my right hip, and a dull pain in my lower back that is just killing me. i havent noticed any contractions, but i've heard they can literally be in your back. i had been sitting in a chair playing cards all evening, and it could have made my back hurt. but i've tried changing positions and nothing has helped so far. can sharp pains in your hips be an indicator for labor? has anyone had back labor, and what is it like?

By the way, I'm 19 weeks pregnant. I could be lying down, and all of a sudden, it feels like my heart's trying to beat out of my chest. It doesn't hurt, or anything, though.

I guess I'm just wondering if this is something that happens in pregnancy... This never happened to me with my first, and with this one, I'm getting a virtual cornucopia of horrid symptoms.

I know this is a stupid question but...

Will I be able to take anything with me to the hospital to have my baby... as far as books, magazines, CDs, or anything else to keep me calm? Will I even be able to concentrate on these while I'm in labor, or will it be so horrifyingly painful that I'll just lay there and wrythe in agony?

I know some hospitals have certain allowances in their birthing centers, and some don't. What basics do they provide?

ok this may sound gross and I know what the plug is (losing it is how i knew i was in labor with my first child)
i'm now 23 weeks pg with my 4th and a few weeks ago the morning after sex when i wiped i had a large globby clear thing come out.
could it have been congealed sexual secreations or was it my plug? i hope it wasnt my plug as im no where near due yet.
(i havent had it before or since and ive had little to no bleeding)
