what are the best thing/s, lesson or tips you learned while you're pregnant that you can share with any pregnant women out there having their first baby like me?

I am almost 31 weeks pregnant and after my husband and I had sex for the first time in a week or so, I got this little balloon like swelling on just one side of my labia. It ISNT painful but it really bother me b/c I have no idea why its there! I have read about the bartholin cysts but im not sure if thats what it would be. ANYONE heard of this or had this happen...if so how long did it take to go away and what did you do?????

i'm 4 days overdue, and i'm curious how long an ob usually waits before inducing labor. i've heard about some women being as far as 43 weeks before being induced, and some being just a few days overdue. i know they like to give you time with first pregnancies, and they like to wait to induce bc the due dates can be off and they dont want the baby born too soon. but in a typical first pregnancy, how long will they wait? i dont want to be 43 weeks before anything happens! i'm ready to have her now.

i am supost to be on my peoid it stated yesterday and i usally have a heavy peoid but for some reason it keeps starting and stoping but iam only spoting when it starts has this happen to anyone and what does it mean

I gave birth to my son on 12/24 and they had to give me an episiotomy. The hospital never really told me how long it would take to heal or anything about the aftercare.

How long does it take to heal?

Do the stitches just dissolve, or do I need to get them removed?

If you had one, how long before you could do things again?

I'm still in a lot of pain and can barely sit down without it feeling like it's tearing!

Has anyone ever taken benadryl more than 2days in a row?I know on the medical websites they say it's safe but they don't say how often.Can people with experience only answer this question please?I just don't see how this won't effect our babies!

Ok, Im sure this sounds out of control and i know this. Im 20 yrs old and my boyfriend of 3 years will be leaving for the navy in april. I still have about 3-4 years of school left ahead of me. All i can really think about it wanting to settle down and have a baby with him.... NOW!! Everytime i get my period i get a little depressed, i know right now just wouldnt be a good time at all, but i keep feeling the urge to have a baby with him. Is this just my biological clock or am i insane?

what are the chances that i get pregnant after having sex when he pulled out?... im 17 and we used condoms at first, but then we didnt have any so he just pulled out.. i started birth control 4 days ago but planned parenthood said it should take about a week to kick in the right way...something inside me tells me im pregnant... am i just going crazy or is my body/mind telling me the truth?

Had a regular period. The first day was the 4 th of Nov. I was supposed to ovulate the 18th. Had unprotected sex the 17th and Dec.2. I am 28 days late. Spotted in Nov. and Dec. I took a test the other day in the afternoon and it said neg. My signs started to show like two weeks ago. Frequent urination, sickness, boobs more sensitive, sick feeling when i smoke. Had extremely bad sickness after drinking one wine cooler, sickness lasted two hours after drinking until the next night, I get dizzy ever now and then. Do you think I concieved the 18th or the 2?

Im going on 36 weeks pregnant..and I have an ultrasound scheduled for this week...it will be my 4th one because they say my baby is measuring big for his due date. Im kind of confused because I mean if he IS big what is an ultrasound going to help? Will they induce me early or what? I keep thinking what does it matter if he is 6lbs or 10 lbs? Has anyone had a similiar situation? Any help is appriciated!

I was just wondering.. Cause my hospital doesn't allow VBAC's anymore. My Dr. said the only way they do them if it's to late and the baby is already in the birth canal. Is it proven to be dangerous now or what??

Hey, ok so i am 18 weeks pregnant with my first.. and i live in florida..there is some weird cold/flu going around...my husband got it and practically everybody at work...so i woke up today with a stuffy nose and some phlem in my throat- i'mjust worried about getting sick, if i do, what do i do? This guy and I are really good friends. It is very possible that I will progress into more. There areindications that it will. He has informed me that there are times when he would like for me to have his kids. I told him that I felt very honored but would like to be married first. I informed him several times how I felt about him. He has done the same. He completely respects my wishes. He would be the most awsome dad. He is easy to talk to, respectful, and is very understanding. I know that he wants 2 children the same as me. He here is the problem. I am absoutely scared of being pregnant. I am scared of morning sickness and of labor. I don't want to miss a golden oportunity with someone whom I care so much for. What do you suggest?

i had a contraction 15 to 20 minutes apart for 4 hours then suddenly slows down i think its disappearing is this normal phase of labor? when we got to the hospital they about to admit me but then they said that if i can still walk i can still go home but im dilated already 3 cm. what do you think about this?
