Hi Kevin, The Hyde Amendment is just another law, that can be changed by Congress. It could very easily be the victim of changes in the health care bill being pushed through Congress. I'm not saying it's in there now. Truthfully I don't know. But given the way that the Dems like to ram through important legislation by adding hundreds of pages at the last minute and then voting on it, like they did with Cap & Trade, it could very well happen.

Most of the time it is upfront. Usually the co-payment or just the patience's part of the bill. Ask the insurance company if they cover it and call the place to see how much the fee would cost for whatever your insurance does not cover.

It really depends on the office. When I had one done u had to attend counsling in which they ask u are u sure u want to go through with it then they made u pay $100 then and when u came back to d o the actual process of aborting the made me pay the rest of the money which was about $235

From my experience, they wouldnt go on to the next step without recieving payment. Do no. But that might just be the place I went to. try looking places up on the internet and calling them individually. If they are a good place, they should be willing to answer all your questions and make you feel comfortable.

That depends on whether or not you have an insurance plan and if the clinic accepts your insurance. If not, you usually have to pay up front.

I think that is a terrible thing to do. You shouldn't have sex i you aren't ready for the responsibilities or consequences.
