All pregnant women have a suppresed immune system and get colds. You can take tylenol and sudafed. It's also safe to get a flu shot so you don't get anything with a high fever which is the most worrisome. A common cold is not harmful to the baby. A flu shot, continuing your prenatal vitamins and washing your hands like crazy is all you can do.

Ask if you're allowed to take Zicam, which can shorten the duration and severity of a cold. Found in the drug section of the supermarket. There are different methods of taking this natural "drug" so scan over each type of Zicam product.

Just about everybody gets sick when they are pregnant. Its a pretty normal thing. Just go to the doctor. You shouldn't take any over-the-counter medicines because they might harm the unborn baby.

Do not take any medication unless your doctor has given the ok. Tylenol is really the only thing that you could take, but nothing is better. If you get really sick go to your Doctor.
