Are there any reasons if blood comes gushin out like water at 5 wks

Some bleeding is normal for some pregnancies. Miscarriage is a possibility, but may not necessarily be the cause of the bleeding. You need to call your midwife or OB right away and they will ask you questions about how much blood, what other symptoms and may request a visit based on your answers.
Don't assume that it is a miscarriage, bleeding in first trimester is more common than most people realize. It could be - implantation bleeding, bleeding as a result of the increased sensitivity of the cervix, a lost twin, a bacterial infection or various unknown causes.

some women still have periods while their pregnant. Although some women are heavy mentrual bleeders its not suppose to be gushing out like water. Thats a good sign something is wrong.

If you are loosing that much blood then the chances of you having miscarried are fairly high, get yourself off to a doc...

if any blood came out of me when i knew i was pregnant i would be at the emergency room, you lost it.
